Hiromasa Moto

A witch by birth and apothecary by trade, Hiromasa is the sole proprietor (and employee) of  The Four Corners, one of the few arcane pharmacies in Japan.  He is a witty and intelligent guy with a soft spot for his charge and all things bizarre. A bit of a hopeless romantic, there's more to him than meets the eye past his down-to-earth personality.

The Four Corners bears the humble outward appearance of an antique oddity shop on the corner of a Harajuku backstreet. While the primary storefront is devoted to unusual tchotchkes and curiosities for non-magical folk, like quack medical devices, porcelain dolls, skulls, and taxidermy, the arcane pharmacy lies just beyond the storeroom door in the back. Hiromasa himself is the only person able to conjure up the portal to this portion of the shop, and only those who possess talents in magic can pass through to the pharmacy. There he sells home-brewed potions and reagents with which to concoct potions along with just about anything a witch might need to practice The Craft. Need some eye of newt, a couple athames, twenty votive candles, and the latest issue of Witch Weekly? You name it; he's got it.

When he's not working, Hiromasa lives above the shop with his adoptive dragon son and  apprentice, Goomie. Goomie's spirit was called upon for the purpose of serving as his familiar, but something went awry in his summoning, stunting the growth of his vessel and making him more childish; in spite of this, Hiromasa dotes on Goomie and loves him to bits all the same.
