While on one of his numerous expeditions, Apollo picked up a space parasite that morphs into the shape of and melds into the selected host. He has a semi-mutualistic relationship with the parasite head; it provides defense and strength while sapping nutrients from the host. The parasite can speak, but it's often no more than a word salad or a disturbing array of groans and whines, always accompanied by g̶͕̍ḷ̷̐ḯ̷̝t̵̮̅c̸͙̅h̸̲̽y̶̲͒ undertones. He feared that its goal was to overtake his whole body, however it seems content with merely hitching a ride. It could be worse... right?
