One of Supernova's main antagonists.

A primary defense unit. Xane is basically a sentient air strike.

Though he was born with the ability to fly, he was also born with faulty lungs that inhibited him, later leading to his death at 15 years old when his lungs collapsed. However, Xane was brought back with an almost entirely reworked body and respiratory system, and though he lost most of his memories and personality, he can finally enjoy his ability... Though he doesn't get to use it much outside of his duties. At the special request of his "anonymous benefactor", his reworked respiratory system gave him a funny extra feature: he can now breathe (concentrated) fire. Combined with his flight, this earned him the alias of "The Dragon". Fitting, since Xane loved dragons as a child; he still owns his past life's favourite stuffed dragon. It's the only item that gives him some sense of familiarity and comfort after the loss of his memories.

Xane spends most of his time on a special charging block, his consciousness linked up to the city's outer shell and able to detect any anomalies. Along with direct access to all public camera feeds, Xane is a centre of intelligence and has the authority to dispatch other units. He usually only surfaces when there's an immediate threat to Meskor's shell, but occasionally he steps out on a whim to handle smaller issues.

His presence is never taken lightly. Xane has quite a bit of blood on his hands and is infamous for crashing into buildings at mach speeds and emerging relatively unharmed.

Personality

Outside of his duties as a defense unit, Xane is detached and somewhat shy. This manifests as incredible social ineptitude; he can and will just stand and stare at anyone who tries to talk to him, usually only responding with blinking and small gestures. That's not to say he doesn't like people. Xane gets lonely very easily and prefers to shadow a friend in complete silence over being left in an empty space.

Harbouring a deep appreciation for both aesthetic and character, Xane likes observing people and other such subjects of interest.

It might seem that he lacks self-awareness with how much he openly stares at people, but it's quite the opposite; quite the introspective individual, Xane is acutely aware of how intimidating he is to others and how he's not the best company... Among other things such as how rash he can be.

However, despite his quiet nature, Xane is always aware that he is the biggest threat in the room and does not shy away from using force.

Extremely dependent and needing of others' approval, Xane is unlikely to take harsh remarks personally and is prone to following orders with no questions asked.

All these combined make quite the effective weapon.

And though he might not show it, he is deeply appreciative of any kindness shown to him.

Relations

↪ Mingjué- Xane sees her as some sort of guardian figure as well as a friend. She and Chroma were the ones who revived Xane and did most of the work on his replacement organs. Xane feels an unwavering loyalty towards her.
↪ Jay-Jay - Xane's younger sister. Though Xane does not remember their childhood, JJ seems to hold a strong animosity towards him. He is indifferent most of the time, but occasionally returns her hatred in full.
