When Specklewish was younger, she was boisterous and often tripped over her own paws in excitement, but she mellowed out after some time spent training with her mentor, Ashenstep. Now, as a warrior, She’s much more mature, but she will occasionally showcase traces of kit-like joy.

As a kit, Specklekit was an energetic bundle of fur, bothering her mother when she wasn't tending to her brother, and chasing after her father whenever she would see him around camp, or he would come visit them in the nursery. When her parents weren’t around, she would drag her brother, Thrushkit, around and forced him to endure the stupid games she came up with. When she couldn't bother her parents or brother, she would go after the apprentices, attempting to drag them into her games.
When Specklekit reached 6 moons old and had her ceremony, Ashenstep was assigned as her mentor. Ashenstep was a very calm and collected Shecat, which clashed with Specklepaw’s loud and energetic behavior at the time. It took them awhile, but they eventually sorted out a dynamic that worked for them while they trained, which avoided most of their arguments of/towards each other. They continued training under this dynamic, Ashenstep teaching Specklepaw how to be a bit calmer at times, and teaching her how to be a respectful warrior and the two grew closer as good friends.This left Specklepaw with a more mature outlook on life, though she’d still retain some of her more energetic traits.
When Specklepaw reached 13 moons, she had her warrior ceremony, granting her the name Specklewish. A few moons after her ceremony, Crowleap was critically injured on a patrol, and couldn’t recover from his injuries, barely making it two days after the incident. This left Specklewish feeling depressed, and she would often be seen moping around or throwing herself onto any patrols she could. She wouldn’t talk to anybody besides her brother and mother at first, though she slowly opened up with their coaxing. . This behavior lasted for a couple moons as Specklewish grieved her father’s death, but Thrushbelly and Spottedspring eventually pulled her out of the inky depths and closer to her former energetic self, though nothing seemed to restore her entirely. She ended up falling back into this depressive state when the two legs began invading as she had lost Thrushbelly this time due to the two-legs invading the territories with their machines, leaving Spottedspring to mourn the death of her son and grieve the loss with her daughter. Nowadays, Specklewish still retains traces of the sorrow, but she focuses more on her clan to avoid the dreadful thoughts, and creating new memories with her mother to fill the void of her father and brother.
