Alex Reynolds is a half-angel character from a series I was planning called Chosen. Due to his orange wings, he is a protector angel who are fighters and defenders of heaven. He is outgoing and athletic, and he's on his high school's soccer team. He is gay and asexual. His best friend is Emmett.

His world is not to be confused with my other angel world. They have separate universal dynamics and qualities of angels, and I ended up pretty much scrapping this one for now.
Chosen was a world in which humans were occasionally "chosen" to become half-angels to help out angelic society and the whole universe. They were prophecised to exist, and were a pretty big deal. There existed two rival groups, the angels and the demons, that have existed for all time in separate dimensions from earth (nicknamed heaven and hell). They were once one group but broke apart early on and have been enemies ever since. They fought over the earth and the humans, however neither is strictly good or evil.
Heaven is led by elite angels (white/grey wings) and run by the other types (guardians, protectors, healers, and seers). Angels “arrive” in heaven for no known reason. Demons arrive in a similar fashion in hell. Demon and angel wings are invisible to humans (rare exception for those that are spiritually enlightened/gifted), and generally their eye colors match their wing colors. Angel wings are feathery and shades of light white, orange, gold, blue, and pink colors. Demon wings are leathery/scaly and shades of dark black, purple, green, red, and silver colors. They have slightly similar societies in some ways but also different customs and ways of doing things.
