In life, Ramesses was worshiped and revered as a pharaoh, possessing an almost god-like status. He ruled with an iron fist, and few were foolish enough to question his authority. But in death, his social standing is rather different; after all, in the 21st century, pharaohs like himself are viewed simply as relics of the past with little relevance to the present day. Even several centuries after his death, Ramesses is still very bitter about his fall from grace: the cranky jackal is greatly disappointed by the fact that his once grand palace is now a tacky tourist attraction, complete with a gift shop and cafe. Despite the fact he no longer possesses his status, Ramesses still has a grandiose sense of self, and does not hesitate to boss others around him. Growing up as a pampered member of royalty, he knows little about taking care of himself, and frequently expects others around him to do his bidding. As frustrating as this it, most just go along with his fantasy to avoid confrontation with this argumentative canid.

Trivia

• He has some limitated supernatural powers, which include telekinesis, weather manipulation and hypnosis. When using them, his eyes glow white.
• Despite his bossy and brash demeanour, Ramesses was incredibly paranoid in life. He was incredibly anxious about being poisoned in particular, demanding that all his food and drink be tested before he consumed it.
• His design and concept is loosely based off my favourite Iron Maiden album, Powerslave.

Design Notes

• He can be drawn as anthro or feral, but is usually drawn as feral.
• He is completely hairless. Do not draw him with fur.
• His eye sockets are empty.
• He has a false beard - please remember to draw it!
• His facial markings are supposed to resemble a skull.
• He can be drawn with his opt. staff when in his anthro form. His anthro form should also always be drawn clothed.
