Story

Araki is a business man. He talks a lot and 99% of the time he can talk into you and get you to do whatever he wants.

"No, I'm not a swindler, what are you talking about, haha." Araki straightened his tie.

"Going somewhere?" I munched on the donuts on the table with the gang.

"Juuust gonna go get some funds for our alcohol stock. Be right back!"

Before Araki could go, Yuta called out from his dark hacker room. "Go on the small roads. There's a traffic accident on the highway."

"Okay! I'll make sure to go on the highway!" Araki already knows from Yuta's tone that he's lying. He's just that good at talking… and listening, in this case. He clicked the door close on his way out and you could hear a muffled "oops, sorry!" as he bumped into the passersby on the road.

"He could've been a successful business man if he'd just… do the right thing with his talents.." Naoya squeaked out. He seemed small even though he was a tall boy in between Chihiro and Nissho.

"Heh, no one wants to live a boring life." Chihiro stuck his tongue out to lick the icing off the donut. "Aren't you the same, Nao-chan?"

Naoya didn't want to admit it, but yeah, he wanted something new in his life. Just like everyone else in this room.

My phone went off. It was Araki. "Save some of that donut for me, would ya? And tell that bastard Yuta that I'll curse him for what he's done." Then hung up.

I was confused before Yuta's sound came from the dark room. "I did lie. There's no traffic incident on the highway yeah, but the road is closed for construction."

We laughed at that pettiness. No day is the same with the gang. Come join us if you want the adrenaline.
