At first glance Silas comes off as greedy, manipulative, bitch. They oftentimes flirt and lie to get their way and if it wasnt for his charming ways nobody would talk to him. 

They were raised in a Noble family, but due to their teething heritage they didn’t receive all the benefits. From the moment he was born their parents knew he was an embodiment of their sins.they would often times lock him in his room, trying to hide him from public view. If it wasn’t for his best friend/guard he would’ve lost his mind. Often times the two would sneak around getting into all sorts of mischief. And when would flirt with the women who would come visit their family the two would share a knowing glance. while, it wasn’t perfect Valentine was happy. But as he grew older, his parents became more restless. They finally had a second son without the devilish heritage. Silas already knew his time was upwhen his dad asked him to come speak with him. Silas was introduced to the type of fellow he had always avoided. And that night when the assassins came gave his life to defend him. 

Silas was forced to change his name to Valentine to hide his existence. For a while, he wondered through town, not knowing what to do with this newfound freedom. and all he found in each town was longing and grief. Eventually, he came across a group of marry men, much akin to those of Robin Hood. Silas thought this would be a good way to get back at his father for what he had done and he stayed with them. Everything was going good until one day. We’re Valentine was seen with dead guard at his feet and all his friends gone. He was arrested for the murder, despite his pleas of innocence. And in jail, he rotted. 

He had time to think on the actions of his so-called friends by the time the man came. He had been bought to participate in a war that wasn’t his. The idea was preposterous to him, he had never fought in his life. But despite this, he went along with it, hoping he could get his freedom one way or another.
