Sam (Sam (MadCom))

Sam is not your average grunt. A clone made with contaminated DNA made a half-grunt-half-insect creature. One thing leads to another and this glitch in The Machine becomes an enigma, to say the least. Despite the hellscape that is Nevada, they try to stay neutral and as pacifistic as possible.

Sam is kind, caring, helpful, and creative. However her odd behavior makes her a very enigmatic person. She speaks in a often friendly yet strange manner. She is also somewhat aloof, sometimes giving vague and cryptic answers to questions or in conversations in general. She does not seem to take much interest in killing or even causing harm to others, she appears far more focused on others well being than her own at times.

In a way, she seems to be broken by the world and somewhat withdrawn; yet she believes that everything is fascinating and everyone should be shown some kindness. It is unclear to what extent Sam understands the depths of despair and tremendous problems that Nevada has. Whether or not she holds to a naïve viewpoint of everything is alright or holding some other way of thinking, is unknown.

Under rare circumstances, however, she can be serious. Sporting a voice that is uncharacteristically stern and sometimes menacing to others. After these moments, she doesn't seem to notice that there was a change of might be "playing dumb."

While Sam's has powers and abilities it is unclear as to how she has them. Some are more obvious, like her abilities conected to her insect origin, while others are not clear on orgin or why she is able to do such abilities.

She is able to fly with her moth-like wings from her insect origin. However if her wings are hurt, uneven, or wet, it will give her trouble or the inability to fly. She is able to stick to things like an insect would. Using the odd hairs on her hands and feet, which are seen in real world insects. She has a venomous bite that causes halucinations and whoever bitten to pass out. Halucinations are usually the same with the one bitten seeing Sam as someone else, usually a person in power or someone cared by the one bitten. The fur that she has is similar to a moths, but it is unclear as to the perpose of having such fur in the Nevada desert.

Sam also shows to have a few powers that are not of insect origin. She is able to teleport, but has to see where exactly she is teleporting in order to get there. She has telekinesis, however is rarely used. She is able to see things that aren't there. It is hard to tell when she uses this power or if it is involuntary. She often talks to her shadow, as she claims that it is someone else.

While not supernatural, it is thought she does know more than she leads on. Often seen as "playing dumb" by others.

Main Story

What was supposed to be a simple clone turned into a crazed experiment. DNA from a dead body of ████████ an ex-Nexus propaganda artist, that was covered in insects, fused to make a half grunt-half insect creature that could barely live until ██ ███ █████████ █████ █ █████ █████████████ █████ ████ ███ ██████. ██████ ███ ████████ ███ ██████ ███ ████ ███████ ███████ ███████. After breaking out and running away with her "imaginary friend". She soon runs into some of most notorious mercenaries in Nevada, Sanford and Deimos, injured, she shows them kindness and helps them with their injuries. The mercinaries, surprised by the mercy in such a hellscape, offer her to join them. Which she does, and joins the Status Quo.
