Arthur is very passive and easy-going. He's very independent because his parents were usually away when he was younger. They made him babysit to get money to buy food for himself at convenience stores. When his relatives came over he had to act like he was the child of a perfect, fully-functioning family, so he prefers not to be the center of attention. Arthur liked being ignored when his parents were around because they always tried to tell him what to do: do your chores, get a job, get a girlfriend, become a doctor. Arthur's life goal is to become an inspiring painter. He paints constantly when he's not reading or writing poetry. He likes when it rains because he loves getting in the mud to cool down and relax.
