- Her wings are the small standard wings of a pegasus.
- Her hair is unkempt, often looking "hungover" or unbrushed with many split ends.
- Her jewellery is just for special occasions and rarely worn. It has a ringpull motif and can double up as bottle openers.
- If she was to wear a cloak, she could easily pass as a unicorn.
- She has very pointed teeth.
Character notes:
To the public, the beer queen is well loved and a great addition to any party. She is almost a living legend, as no-one knows per personally but all know about her, having heard tales of wonderful drunken times she has brought. Her fermenting based magic can quickly produce endless amounts of high quality beers and she's always willing to share. She often turns up to more low-key events making them a riot by enabling and encouraging everyones' drinking. She is a popular and friendly face who always beings the good times.
Behind closed doors Fermentia is actually a tactical genius. She rules from the shadows, without ponies even knowing. Often the places she has influence have another official ruler people -think- is the mayor/princess/prince but like the mafia, nothing happens without Fermentia knowing or having a hand in it. By getting the right people drunk to discover secrets for blackmail or infiltration, then sending her loyal few "knights" to do her bidding, no-body ever suspects that disasters or downfall has Fermentia to blame.
There are many ponies who have gone missing during or after an event where she has been present but the investigations never get far as all witnesses will have been too drunk to be reliable, or have had too much of a good time with The Beer Queen that they'd suspect her as a Villain. She undoubtedly is though. Sending her agents out to anonymously kidnap ponies so she can drain their power to add to her own. She never blabs about her plans, and has never come close to being caught.
Fermentia is a dark alicorn who ascended when she discovered her mastery over both beer, and social manipulation. Previously she was just a Unicorn. She manages to keep a low profile and is very careful to make sure no pictures are taken of her. Her agents can quickly dispatch of anyone who tries to speak of a new fifth alicorn "princess" lest her antics get back to celestia. Her subtle colours and stature and non-magical mane help her to sell the illusion she is just a unicorn. You must have been mistaken if you thought there was an alicorn at that party. How drunk were you? Is there any proof?
The only ponies who even suspect anything are Celestia and Luna. Fermentia has managed to close her dreams off to Luna, which is suspicious enough. And Celestia -knows- Fermentia has more influence than she lets on, but without definitive proof she can't simply punish or imprison her on merely a "hunch". Fermentia is far too smart to fall into any traps or sting operations that Celestia has set up to try and catch her.
