With a name alluding to both her beauty and lethality, Belladonna Blackwake is the current reigning pirate lord of the Bronze Sea. An elf cursed by forsaken magic, Belladonna likes to spend most of her time as a problem both to her enemies, and to herself.
Her chosen weapon is a bow, but seems to be just unfortunate enough to constantly misplace or lose them. When she can’t stay armed, she has a habit of improvising with various poisons and elixirs. When she finds herself without both, her bad attitude compensates with a sting.

Daughter to a renowned general, Belladonna Blackwake had a youth of arcane academics and a military career ahead of her. She promptly threw this out for her love of the sea and a hunger for legendary tails. She joined an infamous crew and was playfully “crowned” as The Poison Queen for her affinity for elixirs and poisons.
After the untimely end to her previous crew, Belladonna Blackwake decided to start a “crew” of her own, and assumed the loose title “Captain Blackwake”. She avoided traveling with any other pirates, choosing to sail alone, establishing more of an alliance among naval travelers than a literal crew.The only period she spent on a proper crew was on the previous Bronze Sea Pirate Lord’s crew, before eventually poisoning their mead and burying the crew inshallow graves filled with necromantic blood. This left the mantle of Bronze Sea Pirate Lord open, so Blackwake took a keepsake from the previous pirate lord and assumed the mantle herself. By this point, most of the pirates she had an alliance with were dying off and the survivors became known as Blackwake’s “Three Bishops”. Who later “”betrayed”” her.
With the Three Bishops having “”betrayed”” Blackwake, she sought out the Party as a means to get her revenge. The facade that she had been betrayed quickly fell, just as Blackwake was hit with the news that her cousin Silvermane had been killed by the Party’s new captain Watermelon. She has since spent her days stuck in the purgatory between prisoner and crewmate of the Party.
