Belphie is a doll, being the servant of Mori. Since Mori allows her to do whatever she pleases, the doll works at a library and reads all day. She frequently buys new books, even importing ones written in languages she can’t speak.
Ivan frequently visits her library, sharing her writings with him sometimes. She also acted like a teacher towards him at some point, helping him learn about various subjects.
There is just one problem with Belphie. She rarely finishes her projects, preferring to sit somewhere beautiful and read her books. Her library is a mess too, not bothering to clean the place up and putting the books on the wrong shelves. No one dares to call her out on this, due to the power she shares with her master.
Since Belphie is a very old doll, there are doll joints all over her body. She doesn’t blink either, although she will fake it when she’s around humans.
- Belphie doesn’t need to wear a monocle. She merely likes wearing one.
- She enjoys listening to Ivan’s music, encouraging him to practice more.
- Belphie doesn’t need to sleep either but still does it because she finds it enjoyable.
- Despite being a doll, she’s liked among the townsfolk and they have gotten used to her working there.
- Her biggest flaw is her tendency to delay things and quickly giving up whenever something doesn’t work out.
