Kate was born from a relationship between her human mother and a demon, her mother raised her like a normal human girl, except for the fact she had to feed her kid with human energy from time to time, that's why Kate's mother also joined the Belladonna cult at some point. Kate grew up as a spoiled kid that got everything she could ask for,when she reached her teen years she was a master in manipulation and used her looks to get where she wanted to be.
Ken was her longest relationship, Kate never saw Ken as more than a dog to be used whatever way she wanted but she couldn't bare the thought of sharing her "property" with someone else, that's why Ken cheating on her caused such a big scandal.
Kate couldn't hate him more, all he does is cause problems, Kate absolutely despises his life-style and thinks the things he does to humans are "too much". Kate thinks Michael is a creep and a sadist, she can't stand being close to him.
