mostly their coat consistency/horns/antlers/eyes and stuff will change also probs an actual hidden mage who has like 0 control they just wake up an look in the mirror and like dang again??!

Often doesnt remember any casting or magic use and is surprised or confused all the time. Their changes often reflect who or whats around them and they sure wont know who its based off of unless theyve been around someone for a long time to adopt a feature.
Literally cant control their magic it just happens and they get spooked every time or frustrated by their weird appearance. Very self conscious and often shy. Would hide in a potato sack with leg and eye holes to not be seen.
