Mateo Heart

Mateo holds a strong sense of loyalty towards Rexus, their dearest companion. 

They take the form and name of an old friend they once had, who passed in a rather traumatic manor. Everyone has their own way to grieve, Heart's was to take their form and pretend they never truly left. A way rather unhealthy way to cope, but everyone preferred Rexus over them anyways (In their mind at least), so why not pretend it was you who died instead of you're closest friend.  

Due to this, they tend to stray from all mirrors, unable to look at the face staring back at them without remembering. 

They live their life as Rexus, an entertainer and card/fortune reader. Traveling from place to place with whatever group they seem to happen by and mesh well with.  Not afraid to spit in the eye of those they deem deserve it, and turn a blind eye when favorable to them or those they like.
