Cybin is a symbiotic lifeform, and the fungal component is the one in control. The hyphae of the fungus travel through his body, compelling his movements and actions towards proper conditions for mushroom development. The bioluminescent spores he sheds can infect new creature they come in contact with, spreading the sentient fungi's habitat. Like the xeros being ressurected from extinction, it also wants its own chance at renewed life.
