Satoshi

Satoshi is a character from a fictional pixel rpg horror game called "New Moon Rising" (2008)
It tells the story of a group of young adults who all travel to a cabin in the woods to stay for the weekend. In hopes of enjoying their summer together again like old times, they all meet up at a friend's uncle's cabin. All seemed well and good, until they find one of their friends bloody and dead in one of the guest rooms. With the phone lines cut and the car tires punctured, it seemed there was nothing else to do but to stay at the cabin and figure out who could perform such a horrid act.

Satoshi is in a very unfortunate position, since he doesn't get the chance of being part of this investigation...nor does he get remembered. No, he isn't the murder victim, but rather the unfortunate soul who got his code replaced by Samir, who escaped another game from corruption and inserted himself into the code of another to fit in. Everyone treats Samir like he's Satoshi, while the real Satoshi has disappeared too.
