Eliakim is a stubborn and self indulgent demon. He knows nothing but putting himself in his line of work as he enjoys it to his fullest, and will do anything to keep furthering his discoveries and working on his flaws. He tends to forget to rest from time to time and normally shrugs off any attempts to stop him, but he has a soft spot for his family, so they might be able to convince him to take a break.
Quirks & Habits
Being a candy addict, he has a habit of always chewing on something. Normally, he tends to chew on lollipop sticks, but he will chew on anything that stays in his mouth for a period of time (straws, spoons, chopsticks).
Communication skills
He communicates well with people, albeit he will be extremely blunt and straightforward about his comments. He keeps it short and sweet, as he normally does not like having prolonged chats even if it's about his interests. The only time you will get to hear him go on a long rant is when he gets ideas and requires feedback about them.
Showing affection
He is the least affectionate in his family. While he does not mind receiving affection, he would prefer it to be kept to a minimum even if it's family. Friends can only dream of being physically affectionate with him. He would rather give gifts as a form of affection instead, and normally those gifts would include little machines or trinkets that he has built from scratch.

He has sharp eyes with long lower lashes. Has 2 strips of gold scales under his eyes with a dot on each far end of the stripe. Normally looks very grumpy.
Wardrobe
Has the smallest wardrobe since he wears only what he needs. He does wear clothes that are gifted to him sometimes, but prefers things that do not make him stand out. If he's feeling fancy, he would throw on a suit. They have to be tailor-made for him, however.

Eliakim would rather be the background support than the frontline fighter if he ever needs to fight. When he was a student, he always did camoflaged long ranged attacks as a way to experiment with highly explosive magic without the risk of hurting himself. The drawback would be that he was always gets scolded for endangering his schoolmates. The only time he ever gets to fight close combat is when his sister wants to.

The power of foresight runs in the Vinea family. With a customised crystal orb as a medium, he is able to able to use the sight to look into the future or past of a certain individual for a certain amount of time. Despite it being a skill that's heriditory, it is an extremely difficult skill to learn and mastery only comes with frequent use and training. Overuse of the skill in one go can cause severe headaches and sometimes even render the user unconscious. After a certain amount of usage of said power, the user will experience an "awakening", where their eye tears apart and allows them to look even further into time. It's a blessing and a curse.
He generally does not use the innate sight as often as his other family members since he finds no need to. Other than seeing sights that come in dreams, which he calls "divine revelations", he has never actively used it.
While Eliakim prefers to use more explosive fire magic, lightning magic is as easy as breathing to him. Most of the time he uses this lightning magic to help with his work, mainly to charge batteries or kickstart machines. No, he will not help you charge your phone. He will make it explode if you ask him to.
His main choice of offence. He finds unique ways to cast fire, and most of the time they come out highly destructive. It's not like he is not able to control it, he just enjoys the big explosions every now and then. His favourite is to cast it in a way that's similar to launching a bomb at high speeds.
He uses healing magic quite frequently since he has really clumsy family members. He finds it useful since he is also in the line of work where many other demons have a high possibility of injuring themselves in failed experiments. Most of the time he asks for sweets as compensation.

There is really no struggle when it comes to summoning his familiar. It is just a small plague doctor doll, after all. The difficulty lies in trying to get the familiar to not take away other people's mana as and whenever it wants. It took several years for him to get it to be disciplined enough to control its own powers.

Eliakim will never say it, but he has a lot of respect and admiration for his father. There are times where he would gag at how affectionate his parents are with each other, but he does not mind them most of the time.
