As a young acolyte of Elune, Faralane found himself amongst the Dirge of Teldrassil's ranks. Eager to prove himself to both the Dirge and his Goddess, he serves the his people as a healer and fighter.
Faralane is a gentle soul - he's easily startled and not known for his abilities as a fighter, despite his current allegiance to a military group. However, he is willing to stand up for that which he believes in and continually seeks to better himself. He is compassionate, disciplined and devoted; although, he can occasionally act somewhat bratty - a symptom of his naïvety.

Moonsteel Dagger - Faralane carries a blessed dagger forged in moonsteel. It's length is decorated with luminous script and its hilt is incrusted with blue moonstones.
Winter's Kiss Crown - Faralane wears a crown of Winter's kiss flowers, woven for him by his cousin; however, one flower is different, mana-infused and colour-changing.
Pendant of Bonding - Faralane wears a crescent moon-shaped necklace, carved from a glimmering mirror-like metal. A small pink gemstone decorates the pendant.
Engagement Ring - This elegantly-crafted, truesilver ring is adorned with a stone that reflects the swirling green of an emerald forest, held in the band’s centre by a crescent moon. Its surface is carved with twisting, filigree leaves.
Moonstone Beads - A string of moonstone beads is kept on Faralane's person at all times. It was gift from an elder priest who mentored him.
Moonshadow's Journal - Faralane often carries a leather-bound journal gifted to him by his mate. Its purple cover is decorated with Alor'el and Winter's kiss flowers, while its pages are filled with his poetry.
- Brighteyes (Nightsaber) - Fearing that no one else would want a blind saber, Faralane took Brighteyes as his mount. She is a gentle beast and, although flighty at times, she is very concerned with protecting her rider.
- Xan'sha (Pygmy Owl) - This moon-blessed owl assists Faralane in delivering letters back home when he travels with the Dirge.

Faralane exudes an almost ethereal manner, soft and delicate as a field of flowers. His lilac hair is long and somewhat fluffy, although he likes to keep it thoroughly brushed; upon closer inspection, one might note how it’s been braided along one side. Its purple hue suits well the pale pink of his complexion, which remains youthful and smooth, all save for the skin along his right cheekbone; there lies a neat scar, the sort left by a sharp blade. The dark markings around his eye sockets contrast with his pale eyes, which burn white like moonfire. Overall, he has a lean build, physically fit but not terribly muscular. Crescent moons pattern his shoulders - a reminder of his chosen path.
