Neon Zircon, on the outside is not your standard lawyer and definitely not on the inside. Everything about this lawyer is questionable. In standard day to day he’s partnered with Flared Nightspot Zircon as a defense lawyer, getting gems out of trouble in questionable ways. His arguments often make no sense but he still seems to win every single trial. How? It’s mainly because his co-worker and him only take up cases that Dusty Bixbite is judging. This is because Dusy Bixbite, while only being a part-time judge, still holds a lot of power and has a great debt to Neon Zircon. This is because Neon in the Empire’s Underground runs a loan business. Now while the Empire doesn’t have a concept of money, they have the concept of wealth. Neon knows how and has the ways to get gems more wealth, such as through jewelry, pearls and more. In return for favors down the line, Neon aids these elites in their journey towards wealth, but not all the elites can pay it back when asked. Overall, he’s a lawyer who has a judge in his back pocket and even more elites at his beck and call due to their debts.
