the lonely alchemist
Aniki Torferys is a young snow-elf born in Tamriel, growing up initially with her uncle while her parents were on an expedition. Eventually marrying into the Thalmor Embassy with a high-elven disguise, she spent most of her life living in relative comfort.
That was until she met a certain dragonborn that changed the course of her history forever.

Aniki finds it difficult to trust practically anyone; she figures many have the worst intent in mind. Due to past experiences and the Thalmor Embassy, she remains guarded and rarely, if ever, allows this guard to go down. She's seen as conceited and rude, judgemental at times, due to this. To be fair to them, she doesn't try to discourage these rumors or thoughts and even plays into them.
She's considerably more shy and nervous later in life. Not due to a lack of confidence in her abilities, but finding it difficult to interact with people on a personal level. She means well, she just doesn't know how to express this, and comes off as harsh or cold.

Ideology and Goals
While agreeing with the Stormcloak's want for freedom, she spent most of her time supporting the Imperial Army to maintain peace.. Truly she disagrees with both sides and as she learns more she disconnects from the civil war as a whole. Her goal is simply to raise her children and to live with her wife, and if her wife wants to side with one or the other, who is she to complain? It's better than letting them rip eachother apart.
Hopes and Dreams
Aniki has the simple hope of wanting the safety for her children and her children's children, and for equal opportunities for all citizens of tamriel. She also wishes to own and run her own bakery, but the others don't need to know about that. That's her own little secret. She also hopes to one day see her parents or to meet them again, as she doesn't know what happened to them.
Meaningful Possessions
Her wedding ring, which she rarely if ever takes off unless it's to clean it. Her mother's old journals detailing her discoveries as well as family recipes, with a few drawings of a younger Aniki. A wooden carving of a fox her child gave her. A necklace with a turqouise gem, brimming with enchantment magic. A hand-embroidered bag she made when she was younger.
Love Language
Her love language is definitely acts of service. Giving little treats in lunch bags, packing extra things, making food and gifts and bringing tea to those she loves. As well as gift giving, though this comes in the form of more creative projects like little sketches, paintings, or ( poorly ) embroidered items.
Phobias and Manias
Aniki has Hemophobia, an intense fear of blood, often passing out at the sight of it. Which isn't very good considering not only where she lives, but that she lives alone and with two trouble making (/aff) children. She also has an intense fear of being controlled, or having thoughts that are not her own.

- her earrings change dependent on her outfit. usually based on natural objects such as plants, butterfly/dragonfly wings, or fruits.
- the mark on her face is from mana sickness- she covers it up sometimes out of embarassment. this mark often changes shape but always remains over her eye. she calls it a birthmark because mana sickness is incredibly uncommon.

Living in the Thalmor Embassy she was arranged into a marriage by her uncle for her safety. Well, that's what he claimed anyways. The man's name was Kathai, someone who knew she'd been living in secret. Hidden in plain sight. Her wedding ring is the source of her disguise, and thus she never took it off. Kalthai was an important member of the embassy and someone who, despite her best efforts, Aniki despised. The two of them rarely, if ever, got on well.
Growing restless as her role as the quiet wife of a Thalmor official, she began practicing her magic in secret. Sneaking classes at the college of Winterhold in hopes to hone her skills enough to be self sufficent on her own, all the while taking care of her kid, who she loved despite the circumstances.

it's time to make a life for herself, and no one else.
Ditching her life as an Ambassador's wife, she found alchemy to be the most secure job for her. As she could consistently make batches of higher quality potions than most, thanks to her exploration as a child. Living in her uncle's old house she and Sonanil lived peacefully. Rarely leaving eachother's side when they would be together, but of course there were times where she had to take trips to different cities and places. It's safe to say her ever-growing crush on a certain Khajiit kept her a little preoccupied at times, it's not her fault they always ran into eachother!

learning to accept other people into her life once again
Living in Lakeview Manor, she's the primary caretaker of the house when J'Harla is away. Perfecting her crafts, and even picking up painting when the work around the gardens had been done and lunch had been packed. While she does enjoy her adventures, she's much more of a homebody than J'Harla might ever be. When she's not fretting over her wife she's telling their kids all about their adventures.
This is the part of her story where she's the most content, allowing herself to pick up hobbies and meet new people. (Though she still isn't very good at the latter part, she's at least making an effort now.)
wow what a nice happy family/relationship ; it'd be a shame if something happened to it ! ( there is so much to their story ) - i won't include it all but trust me when i say it would take 23 hours of google slides to tell it all.

MAGE bladesinger
Quick and agile, with a deadly flurry of blows, she uses her magic to imbue her blade with magic to cause serious damage. Her magic typically comes out as electricity or fire ; as she doesn't have the best control of ice-related spells. Despite this she's still formidable and will aim for weak points in her target. She's analytical and a strategist through and through.

There is so much to say about these two. From being enemies, to slowly warming up to eachother, to an awkward squeaked out confession; these two have been through many different stages of their life together. Aniki wouldn't trade her the world, she loves her so much.

Despite their rather opposite personalities, the two are incredibly close. They've known eachother since their early days when Azar was locked up in a Thalmor Prison. They truly care for eachother, even if it's not obvious at first glance.

The two are an incredibly bonded pair. Aniki is an absolute mama bear around this kid, of course. Sonanil is still rather nervous when it comes to new people, so she often hides behind her mother's legs when visitors arrive.
