About

Alastor Hex doesn't really know where he came from. He doesn't even know what race he was born. He has a tail, maybe a tielfing, but he can't say for sure. What he does know is that he was raised by his grandmother. At least that's the way he and several other kids called her. She was a sweet and kind lady who took care of those who were no longer cared for. In his teens, his grandmother's mind was no longer so clear, often leaving her confused and without memory. One day, in a flash of clarity, his grandmother turned to him and said that he had been a very sick baby and that she had been happy when they accepted her bargain. While Alasotr immediately asked who 'they' were, the only answer he got from her was, "They who?"

Years after his grandmother had already left for the beyond, Alastor was out in the world adventuring. During this time, he came across a wise wizard that said a bargain with a hag or other eerie forces had transformed him into a magical being called a Hexblood - something between a hag and a mortal. Due to Alastor's nature, the wizard warned him that he would need to learn more about the magic inside him. If he did not learn to wield it, the mortal part of Alastor would slowly disappear, and he may become something wicked.

Already having strange inclinations, wicked thoughts, and a dark sense of humor, Alastor believed the wizard's warning. Only the memory of his grandmother and wanting to make her proud, even after her passing, kept the darkness within him at bay. With the help of the wizard, he mastered his magic relatively well. He uses his skills to raise money and help fund orphanages, seeing a lot of himself in the abandoned youth. At night, however, he hears voices coming from the forest. Very low whispers keep him awake, saying he can't run from his nature and that no one will love him as they can. Because of this, Alastor typically takes very little risk in his love life. Even after venturing into the forest and finding Heura Flor, a part of him believes in the voices and prefers not to be disappointed or hurt.
