Beatrix was brought into the coven as a baby by their mother. They were raised alongside the other young ones, and as such, have no memory of a life outside of the coven - with that being said, they're very acutely aware of how differently they're treated in comparison to others. Nonetheless, they found a friend in the daughter of the group's leader, Yukiona, who was softspoken and kind. Yukiona dreamed of leaving the coven one day and traveling the world, a dream that Beatrix wholeheartedly supported, and they made a promise to her that they would follow her anywhere - eventually, they did. But it wasn't solely for Yukiona's sake that they eventually left, for they were also interested in the wider world, often spending their free time reading and learning what they could.
