She especially resents her half-brother Cadwin, who is, in her eyes, not at all suited to be her father's heir being both younger and less skilled than her, as well as having a truly atrocious temper.
Unfortunately, Fiora herself would never be considered for the position as she was born out of wedlock, making her somewhat of a "stain" on the family tree.
They have gone to great lengths to ensure that no one ever finds out about her true heritage.
