Astoria is known for their dark secrets underneath the main level of the world. This area is known as the Underground, a dark an decrepit area that is known for being responsible for many of the crimes and scandals that occur above ground. Among their crimes is kidnapping.

Long ago, they had stolen many children that piqued intrest of a group of unethical scientents. The scientists had conducted inhummane experiments, to test their "limits" as humans. As they continued, many had died, requiring more to be taken in, and making the children become forced into the realm of torture that would destroy their minds. The few that survived, and became the "successful experiments," had become slaves to the scientists that had gone and modified their existence into superhumans. These children had become a special operation team. Soon, there became many teams, each positioned for service to the region holders in several areas of the realm.
