I don't care if I am reduced to a pile of pulp and blood as long as I do what is right. As long as I do what He taught me to do.

About

Wulfgar is one of the many warpriests of Vildeis, taking up sword and armor in the quest to eradicate evil from the entire universe. He was born in Nerosyan the capitol of Mendev and as such since birth has been lectured on the importance of good and law and why these tennants must be upheld. Ever since Wulfgar was a child he always looked intimidating to others given his natural scowl and many of his peers deemed him intimidating due to his unusually red eyes. While it was prime for Wulfgar to fall into the cult of Iomedae given her omnipressence in Mendev, he never really exactly fit in among his peers. Not only was he moreso intimidating looking but Wulfgar was a bit more brutal and unruly when it came to combat, something the Paladins of Iomedae punished Wulfgar for in his training.

Instead, Wulfgar found refuge with his master, An elf pathfinder War Priest of Vildeis named Egeale. He took the young Wulfgar under his wing seeing that the other were treating him too harshly for his taste. This is not to say that the training and worship of Vildeis is any more forgiving than that of Iomedae, infact Vildeian scripture might be even more-so strict, but Egeale was a firm but kind teacher and molded Wulfgar in his image. Show mercy to the good and Cruelty to that of bad; expunge evil from the world itself. Egeale was a veteran of the Fourth and Fifth Worldwound Crusades and had many scars across his body both earned and self inflicted as per Vildeis scripture.

Each year of training that Wulfgar completed under the wing of Egeale was marked with a scar somewhere on his body, inflicted by the sacred weapon of Vildeis, a dagger. While the pain of the scar was brutual, it served Wulfgar as a reminder of the suffering those of good may endure if evil is not expunged. Wulfgar turned out to be a fantastic apprentice and was quick to pick up swordplay, magic, prayer, and whatever Egeale thought to teach the boy the two were deeply bonded not only as master and apprentice but father and son and as brothers to the same god, a minority where they were from.

As Wulfgar aged and become stronger the talk of him joining the Pathfinders like Egeale became a legitimate topic of conversation. As a Pathfinder, Egeale still served and would occasionally have to leave for a few weeks in order to venture into the WorldWound as per the orders of Venture-Captain Jorsal; however, tragic struck and Egeale did not return... Wulfgar was heart broken, his father and comrade had died in the line of battle. A noble death but certainly too soon for someone like him. Wulfgar had the new broken to him by Jorsal and in the same breathe as he mourned he demanded they allow him to join them officially, so that he may avenge the death of Egeale. Jorsal was moved and decided that he seemed fit enough to become a Pathfinder; however, he was no where near ready to enter the Worldwound in his current state, so he requested that Wulfgar undergo more training and that his assistance may be desired elsewhere first.

At first Wulfgar did not accept this proposal, but after giving it a few days of mourning and letting himself calm down, he was willing to join under that condition. Now Wulfgar trains and worships fervently in order to return to the Worldwound one day and avenge his master. Shortly into his time at the Pathfinder headquarters in Absalom for training, Wulfgar was reunited with a man he had only ever seen a few times during his life in Nerosyan, a man named Cassander. The two hardly recognized one another but once they did began chatting about their time in Nerosyan. Wulfgar considered Cassander to be a mostly soft and unhardened man, he was one of the many Iomedae worshipers in Nerosyan who had shunned him as a child though he was over that by now. In any case, Wulfgar considered Cassander a rival because despite his general goofy visage, Cassander was very capable with a longsword.
