• Howie was designed in summer 2019 to be Ally's boyfriend in comic canon.
• He didn't originally have his signature exaggerated expressions and tiny eyes - instead, he originally had eyes that were striped like his ears.
• Howie and Ally's ship name, Howial, was called that back when Ally's name was just "Al". It was too cute to change it, though.
• Howie's outfit has remained virtually the exact same throughout every design I've made of him, aside from making his vest and undershirt separate at one point (and making his bowtie the same color as his pink ear stripes).
