Aimei is the sole heir to the throne in her kingdom. This is due to the fact that she is an only child because her mother could not bear any more children. Her parents love Aimei deeply, but know that for her to rule strong as a Queen, she would go through great hardships. To prepare her, Aimei’s parents were extremely strict on her. The nobles and royals around her all wore fake smiles and masks to try to get close to her. Everyone wanted Aimei’s favor and power. No one was truly genuine. This caused Aimei to become more and more secluded. She became cold, and her personality became one of a cold hearted ruler. However, one day a new knight joined her knight order. Aimei wouldn't usually bat an eye towards new recruits, but this one caught her attention. “A female knight… how particular..” Aimei thought to herself. This was one of many thoughts as the new female knight continuously caught her attention and eventually, the two began to talk and form a relationship deeper than friendship. They had each other, in a world where odds were against them. Aimei learned to trust and smile again, and instead of being a kind gullible leader, she would be a kind, strong, and witty ruler. As time went on, Aimei grew a name for herself, people would sing praises of her kindness and gratitude towards others. Placeholder and stood side by side through thick and thin, and as placeholder rose up to the ranks as captain, Aimei was officially crowned the crown princess. Their relationship was kept a secret, as same gender relationships were looked down upon as well as the status difference between them. Aimei wishes to ascend to the throne soon, where she will be able to make her kingdom better, and to cleanse the corruption that flows through it.
