Rye tends to feel like an outcast a lot in the skulk. She tends to be VERY agreeable and is a huge people-pleaser, willing to do whatever she can just for a crumb of attention or positive influence. She does have a small circle of friends, she isn't the best socially and feels ashamed of her bloodline.
Rye was a very easy kit to get along with! She had a loving family who she looked up to alot. When Rye was finishing her training, her father tried to leave the fox colony with her mother…but her father was shortly killed by Shino due to this. She wasn't sure how to feel about that- she had looked up to her father all her life but for him to do something so dishonorable felt like her world was shattered. Not only that, but others in the colony looked down on her family now. It was no surprise her mother was killed in battle- most claiming it was the curse her father had forced on his family from his actions.
While most foxes eventually hushed up about her father and what he’d done, Rye could never let it go really. To lose her mother too…fullying believing the crimes of her father still followed her bloodline today. She did feel some kinship towards Taji as they both had parents who did the same crime, but she refuses to interact with the kit. Unlike Taji, she’s completely brainwashed with her way of thinking and will forever be loyal to the foxes who make her feel like her existence is cursed.
Despite this, she is positive for future things and very helpful to everyone in the skulk- especially her friends!! She may or may not have a small crush on Dune but his father scares her due to their history.
