Feel free to draw her stripes however!! I go a bit overboard when designing tabbies, so please don't stress about getting them exact. I'll probably never draw them the same way again haha

Made a ref for her face markings to help sta.sh/0djd4ubosvs

| Fair | Loyal | Determined | Private | Motherly | Regretful  | Overworking | Self-Critical |

 Fair:
She likes to hear both sides of an argument before coming to a conclusion or forming an opinion.
 Loyal:
Lynxclan is her family, and she will do anything for her clan. She will not forsake the wellbeing of her own clan for another.
 Determined:
Coppershade does not like to give up on something once she has her mind set on it, be it training or fixing up camp or other tasks.
 Private:
When it comes to her personal issues, she rarely tells others what's going on. Weaknesses will not be shared unless you are close to her, for better or for worse.
 Motherly:
After raising an apprentice, she has realized that she loves and has a stronger desire to protect younger cats and wishes to have kittens of her own someday. Her love could make her a tad reckless to protect or save them.
 Regretful:
She has made many mistakes in her life and thinks about them often. She most often dwells on times when she could have made a better choice and prevented the losses of her clanmates.
 Overworking:
As the deputy of the clan, Coppershade often pushes herself a bit too hard in an attempt to keep things safe and maintained in the clan.
 Self-Critical:
When she is not able to accomplish something to her liking or fails at a task, she has a habit of blaming herself for not doing good enough, even if circumstances say otherwise.

Likes: Swimming, fishing, collecting odd objects, hunting
Dislikes: Climbing, large crowds,
Fears: Heights, not being able to help, being useless.

Kithood (0 - 5 Moons)
Copperkit was born alongside her sister Duskkit. Her mother Amberpatch was a very gentle and nervous queen since this had been her first litter. She was reluctant to let her kits out of her sight, so Copperkit and Duskkit spent a lot of time together talking and playing together in the nursery. Her collecting habit started a moon and a half after she'd been born. She'd become bored of the nursery and its bland look. One day, her father had brought Amberpatch some feathers for her nest, and Copperkit would keep pulling the feathers out and playing with them. She began to keep her favorite ones under a spare nest to keep them hidden and safe. When she was finally allowed outside of the nursery, she hid her treasures under a bush near the den to keep them from being taken out with the old moss. As she got older, Owltalon brought her sister and her more little treasures. Eventually, she had to discard some of her stash because the feathers and dead flowers would be pushed out of the bush and blown around camp, getting under everyone's paws. Owltalon and Amberpatch helped her decide what to keep and what to get rid of. After this, Owltalon began brining home less items for the kits, not wanting to have another possible mess. Despite Copperkit's habit, she and Duskkit mostly stayed out of trouble. They enjoyed spending time together under their mother's watch.

Apprenticeship (6 - approx. 12 Moons)
Copperpaw was assigned Maplespark as her mentor. The energetic ginger molly was kind to the apprentice. She often took Copperpaw out for walks in between training sessions to hunt or look for interesting items. Copperpaw did well with her training, but it was evident that she had more talent with hunting than fighting. Copperpaw would often take a feather or two from the birds she caught for her collection, or some shells from a fishing trip from the riverbank. One hunting trip earned her a nick in her ear after a failed pounce left her in a bramble patch.  Eventually they had to take less and less walks and be more cautious due to several border skirmishes with Ravenclan. Maplespark began focusing her teachings more on fighting to help train Copperpaw for battle. She often sparred against her sister to practice. After a moon or two, the siblings started to drift apart. They talked when they could, but they would normally train at different times, so they didn't see each other often. Eventually, word spread that a group of Ravenclan cats had left their clan and had gone to start a new one. Copperpaw showed little interest in joining the new clan, but Duskpaw was quite curious to check it out. Duskpaw tried to convince Copperpaw to leave. Copperpaw refused, saying that she couldn't leave their mother alone. Sadly, Owltalon had succomed to a bad infection from a wound caused by a Ravenclan skirmish. Copperpaw refused to leave Amberpatch alone to join the group of warriors responsible for causing her father's death. When she awoke the next morning, Duskpaw was gone. Duskpaw, her mentor Minkheart and a few other cats had left to join the new clan being established. Copperpaw felt crushed that her sister would just leave her, but she didn't dare leave Amberpatch alone. She and her mother comforted each other and Maplespark continued to train her to be a warrior.

Warriorhood (12 Moons - Current)
When Maplespark believed she was ready, Copperpaw was given her assesment. She easily passed the hunting portion of it and passed the fighting portion, although not as easily. In the end, she was given her warrior name. Coppershade is now determined to protect her clan, and to find some cool objects along the way. A little time after she was made a warrior, she found herself with an apprentice! She was given a white and ginger tabby tom named Flamepaw. She quickly grew to like the apprentice and tried to train him to the best of her ability. Despite his disliking for water, he quickly learned how to swim, and was quite speedy in general. She began to grow very protective of the young tom, not wanting anything to harm him. She began to start thinking things through more and more now that she was responsible for more than just her own life.

ROGUE EVENT
After being asked by Yewberry to fetch some herbs, Coppershade and Flamepaw found a rogue in the forest. They quickly reported back to Rookstar and delivered the herbs to Yewberry before heading back out with Deerheart and Drizzlenose. She participated in the battle against the rogues soon after, doing some damage against Watcher but also getting wounded in the process.

When she returned, she continued to train Flamepaw after Coppershade had healed. With Flamepaw close to becoming a warrior, she couldn’t help but feel a little a little proud of herself, and even more in her apprentice.

VALLEY FLOOD:
As the valley began to flood, she found herself on patrols to find her missing clanmate Silverpaw. On one patrol, she and her clanmates Russetstripe and Snagglefoot were attacked by a falcon. They defeated the winged menace, but Coppershade was nearly blinded in her left eye after the bird tried to escape. Luckily, she closed her eye just in time, but she needed to stay in the medicine den for a while to keep the wound from getting infected. As the waters started to rise more, Coppershade and the rest of the clan moved to Snakeclan's territory. A sudden strong wave surged towards the group, sweeping Copper and some of her clanmates away. She woke up a long way from Snakeclan, washing up at an area around the moonpool with a small group of other cats. Along with Brackenpaw, an apprentice from her own clan, she was with Ginsengclaw, Emberbreeze, and Troutpaw. After some panic over her missing apprentice and a quick check of everyone, the group decided that Coppershade would be a good leader for the group, as she knew the territory the best. She tried her best to get the group moving, however after Emberbreeze fell sick and Ginsengclaw's condition worsened, she began to worry more and more. Eventually, the lack of prey and over exertion from failed hunts took their tolls on the group and they passed out, only to be found by their clanmates. After a bad nightmare about her apprentice, she woke up in the medicine den after an undetermined amount of days. She felt disappointed in herself and felt like she failed the group she'd tried to help. She couldn't be sad for long however as Flamepaw walked into the den. She couldn't help the tears of relief that spilled from her eyes. Her apprentice was safe.

About a week later, with the camp still being rebuilt, it was finally time. Flamepaw was finally given his warrior name, Flamewing. Coppershade couldn’t help feeling a small twinge of pride as the tom was given his name. She’d taught him about as much as he’d taught her.

As the seasons got colder, she continued her duties, growing close to a warrior in particular named Snagglefoot. They trained together and helped rebuild the camp after the flood. Over time, Coppershade had developed a crush on the tom.

CROSSED LINES EVENT

Coppershade took part in several of the battles, often fighting with Newttuft and Snagglefoot. While she wasn’t too keen on the fighting, she followed Rookstar’s orders. During these battles, she often found herself fighting a pair of RavenClan warriors named Amberheart and Lilybreeze. She managed to wound Lilybreeze, and in retaliation, Amberheart went for her, and over a few battles, gave her some shoulder and face scars.

Coming home one evening from battle though, she found a sight that horrified her. She had padded into the den to get checked out when she saw her past apprentice laying in a nest. Large claw marks covered the left side of his face, his left eye milky and dull. Needless to say, the healing took a while, and she didn’t want to leave his side.

ROGUES RETURN EVENT

The tortoiseshell hadn’t been at the gathering when the blood red moon appeared, but still saw it from the center of camp. Following the blood moon, more and more rogue scents began to appear. She joined a few of the patrols that went to scout out beyond the borders and recruit the rogues, but found herself guarding the camp most of the time. One patrol led her group to a gorgeous waterfall with a cave behind it. Coppershade wished to stay and speak with the rogue they later found inside, but it had gotten late and the patrol was still a ways from camp. They decided the best choice would be to leave and hope the rogue would still be there if they returned. Her second patrol was with her Snaggle’s and hers adoptive daughter Mallowpaw and two Ravenclan cats. The day they went was especially hot and the patrol ended up underground in a den with two rogues. They seemed quite friendly, though a small bit suspicious. They talked in a weird manner that Copper found oddly amusing. Though the same could not be said for the Ravenclan warrior that joined them. The two apprentices were quick to make friends with them, picking up on the language quite easily, but in the end, they were not successful in recruiting the rogues to the clan’s side. Eventually  the time had come to fight Sleet. Mallowpaw had thankfully stayed behind. Coppershade assured her that both she and Snagglefoot would return. The plan went well in the beginning. Though there were still quite a few rogues on Sleet’s side, there was a considerable dent in the numbers. As the battle dragged on, a sudden voice rang out. One that was all too familiar. Coppershade could only stare in shock as the once thought dead Watcher strutted out from the Moonpool. When the fighting continued, she found herself defending an apprentice from a dark rogue before something else happened. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the large red-brown cat charging for Snagglefoot. With all her speed, she leapt in front of him, taking the hard blow for the tom before falling to the ground. The wound in the side of her neck stung, but she didn’t regret her choice. Watcher, pissed, lunged to attack her again, but she was tackled to the ground by Snaggle just in time. The two shared a moment together before continuing the battle. The brown tom was eventually hit, but Coppershade was glad it was minor. As a Ravenclan tom supposedly finished her off, she finally relaxed a small bit until Watcher came back to life again. Watcher and Sleet retreated and the clans returned home. Mallowpaw was greatly relieved that both cats returned home safely.

PLAGUE EVENT
Coppershade was one of the cats that got very sick with greencough. She was confined to the medicine den for a long time, almost dying from the sickness. She recovered eventually, but it took a while for her to build her stamina and muscle back up.

MUTINY MINI EVENT
Coppershade took part in the final battle, defending the rogues alongside her boyfriend Snagglefoot. After the battle, it was revealed that the tom had been a part of the mutineers in the beginning. This caused a rift in their relationship. They both took a break to figure out what to do next. She still loved him, even if his actions started out wrong. After Mallowlight, their adopted daughter disappeared, they were both shaken. Snagglefoot seemed to be taking the loss the hardest as he had raised her for a while before Coppershade had gotten close. She still deeply missed Mallow, and hoped she was doing okay wherever she decided to travel. A few days later, her former apprentice Flamewing was found dead at the border. It was all too much too quick, and Coppershade began to doubt herself just a little. She pushed on through it though. She does still have bad days, but she tries to stay positive.

WITHOUT FEAR WE ARE BEASTS EVENT

With all the noises and nightmares plaguing the rogues, Coppershade decided that she wanted to help. She joined a patrol and headed towards the cliffs. Eventually they found a large den, and a pair of glowing orange eyes lived in it. To her shock, a lynx emerged from the cave and began to attack the patrol. With many of their clanmates wounded, Dawnfrost leapt up and clawed at some roots to collapse the cave in a last ditch effort to separate them from the lynx. In a moment of panic, Coppershade raced into the cavern to join her clanmates. When the dust cleared, the patrol quickly realized that they were trapped. Coppershade did her best to free them, often staying up at night trying to move the rocks before passing out. A rescue patrol was sent after them after they hadn't returned. Among them was her soon to be mate Snagglefoot. When the patrol found them, Coppershade woke to the sound of her mate's voice calling for her. She tried to call back, but due to dehydration, her voice couldn't be heard. Both patrols worked feverishly to free the first, and eventually a large enough hole was made. Coppershade stumbled out and collapsed into Snagglefoot's side. Their moment of relief was soon ripped away as the lynx attacked again. She and Snagglefoot did the best they could to distract the lynx while the rest of the patrol escaped down the cliff. In the end, an apprentice that had been trapped with them, Otterpaw, refused to leave. She was knocked unconscious by the lynx and nearly killed. Coppershade was the last cat down the cliff, narrowly avoiding a deadly swipe. After spending some time recovering, she and Snagglefoot finally decided to officially become mates (after like 2 years irl omfg we did it). After recovering from that ordeal, she joined another patrol to find some sort of den to use for a checkpoint. They managed to chase away the otters living in the den, but Coppershade's back leg was severely wounded. She decided it would be in her best interest to head back to camp to have her leg treated. The river caused a bit of a problem, and her leg was aching by the time the group of three got back, but they made it safely. When smoke started rising in a part of the forest, Coppershade was one of the first to volunteer, knowing that a fire on the territory would be a huge threat. What she didn't expect to find was a strange blue tinted crow. She thought it was just a trick of the light at first, but she swore she saw the crow's eyes go white and she thought she saw herself in its eyes. She should have taken it as a sign. The patrol found the source of the smoke. Dawnfrost, one of the cats that had come, had attacked a red tinted crow. The crow, in response, morphed, gaining a mane of flames. Eventually they managed to extinguish the crows, but a majority of the patrol was in very bad shape, and all of them were burned. She set out soon after getting home to look for herbs to help heal the injuries from the patrol. At least Lynxclan was safe from the flames.

During the final battle against the Nightmare, she fought alongside several cats from each of the clans. Her first set of enemies was a trio of ghostly rabbits. The rabbits seemed to be tied to hunger as making prolonged eye contact resulted in the cats feeling weaker and hungrier. With the rabbits, there were a few warriors from the Dark Forest that tried to take down the living cats. On top of all that, the Nightmare also attacked in intervals, claiming all of Littlestar's lives before the battle was over. After a bit of confusion, it was discovered that the red crystal was what was controlling the rabbits. In a weird coincidence, a Ravenclan warrior named Sturdybird discovered that with the power of belief, they could shatter the crystals as well as physically breaking them. Using that knowledge, Coppershade pressed her front paws on the face of the crystal, praying to Starclan. As if by magic, the crystal shattered after two attempts, and she almost felt as though she could feel her father's presence, though only vaguely. She fought the Dark Forest cats and when the opportunity came, she raced to fight alongside her mate Snagglefoot. She helped shatter the crystal and battle the other Dark Forest warriors until the portal opened. She helped carry a severely injured apprentice named Rowanpaw home since she hadn't suffered as many injuries. After a few days of recovery, Beetleclaw approached her asking her to be his deputy. She gratefully accepted the offer and serves as the deputy of Lynxclan.

After only a few moons of peace, a bear started to harass Snakeclan. Lynxclan didn't take part in the fight, but Coppershade still worried about her sister from afar. Not long after that, a fight broke out at a gathering. It ended in Rowanscar being badly injured after a Ravenclan warrior named Embercry attacked her. Coppershade attempted to try to calm Beetlestar's reasonable anger, but it didn't seem to be of much use. She didn't want a war to break out, but there was no stopping it. Only Starclan could help them now.

Example: The small black and white apprentice crept through the undergrowth, trying not to make a sound. Her dappled ears listening intently for the sounds of prey. A few moments later, she heard a faint scuffle of prey a few tail-lengths away. Her eyes narrowed as they rested on the small brown body of a mouse. Swiftpaw cautiously stalked forward, trying to make sure that her paws wouldn't brush against anything on the forest floor. She crouched silently, waiting a moment, before pouncing. The mouse barely had time to turn around before the apprentice's claws sunk into its body. She quickly gave it a killing bite before purring softly. Her assessment was going well so far.

Preferred Methods: Discord and dA notes would be great!
