Quirks & habits
Sol possesses quite a few quirks most humans would probably consider strange. The most immediately noticeable one would be his ability to float, as well as the fact that his hair itself does not seem to really adhere to the rules of gravity a lot of the time. He doesn't need to eat, sleep or breathe but still does it for enjoyment.
Due to his inherent curiosity, Sol tends to often just pick up and touch things to examine them - which usually leads to him unintentionally taking them along and moving them, or even accidentally stealing them without really realising. He also has no concept of decency, and as such will generally not adhere to human expectations for such. Due to his ability to float, which is also his preferred way to travel, he tends to be quite clumsy and trip a lot when actually walking properly. This leads to him usually roller skating places instead of walking when he isn't able to fly or float.
Sol has a rather strong fear of tight spaces, and if he eats anything frozen, such as ice cream, it will give him a very intense stomachache. He absolutely adores any sort of warmth and will actively seek it out. Due to his nature he is also incredibly curious and always seeking new kwowledge, though paired with his alien disregard and unawareness of social rules and other human concepts this often leads to him becoming unbearably annoying as he asks question after question without pause. He needs to get into everything, touch and discover anything he sees that intrigues him and has a habit of constantly getting into things that don't concern him.
General psychology
In his natural form as a normal "Black Dwarf Star" Sol is a very curious, bubbly and easily exciteable person. While he usually appears as rather ditzy and naivé due to not knowing a lot about any given culture/society he is present in, Sol can be a rather smart as he never forgets anything he learns due to his photographic memory. He finds a lot of human customs to be strange and is generally very unfamiliar with most concepts humans take as a given - such as the gender roles, shame or other more complicated societal expectations. He usually will not adhere to them unless he is attempting to replicate a human experience in order to understand it better. Sol is very easily amazed and quick to make friends, though he is also quite hard to befriend again if angered to the point of exploding. Due to the fact that he was raised as an accessory and revered as one of the most special among his kind, he can be a bit of a diva as well. There is also a rather spoilt and attention-seeking side to the lone star. Having led a life of being told just how pretty and valuable he is, Sol has internalised these values and considers them as facts. He is starved for attention and revels in it to the point of becoming moody and jealous if he doesn't receive enough, but when he is content he is usually very sweet and bubbly, though a bit airheaded.
Showing affection
When he likes someone platonically or romantically, Sol is insanely physically affectionate, and will grow intensely unhappy if he does not receive the same amount of affection in return. When showing affection towards people in either way Sol will usually be quite over-the-top for human standards. As he has no regard for 'appropriate' standards, and also no real concept of shame in most cases, he will not hesitate to display his affection very publicly. He is an incredibly touchy person that constantly demands and also gives attention, and also does not mind doing most anything save for the very inappropriate acts in front of others. He enjoys sitting on his partners lap, cuddling and touching them constantly, and even with friends will be hugging them often and seek comfort in being close to them.

Facial features
Sol's face is slim and diamond-shaped, with big, wide eyes, a small button nose and soft, round lips. The very first thing others will notice upon looking at him would be his eyes, as the lashes are always coloured in the same way his hair is. Both of his eyes are devoid of an iris or pupil (though he can have them if he desires, which he usually does if people feel uncomfortable at being unable to tell where he's looking at any given point in time), and though usually hidden by his bangs. They are a stark, bright white, and only the hint of an iris can be seen in form of a golden border if one looks especially close. Usually Sol's eyes glow in the dark, though the intensity of this varies based on his mood, and his eyes become darker the more upset or sad he gets - until they turn completely black, as do his lashes.
Sol's eyelids, nose and cheeks are usually coloured in a soft, highly glittery pink, with the tips of his long, pointy elf-like ears being blushed in a much similar shade. In the case of flusteredness, embarassment or other similar emotions the blush on his cheeks will usually deepen to a deep, sparkling purplish-pink resembling a live galaxy.
His lips are round, coloured in a light pink and covered by a sparkly golden glitter. While the rest of his teeth seem normal, Sol's canines are quite long and pointy, and his tongue is coloured a light shade of gold.
Body
Sol will usually appear in a male body, though he can also present as female or otherwise change his appearance entirely due to his shapeshifting ability. His skin is snow-white and has a sparkling, glittery sheen to it that is especially noticeable in direct light. Most of his joints possess a slight pinkish blush, and in his usual male appearance his frame will be slim, with wider hips and soft thighs.
When appearing as female he will have a similar body shape, with the exception of his waist being a little smaller. In this case he would also possess a mid-sized chest. The nails of both his hands and feet are coloured a shiny gold, and he will usually keep his fingernails relatively long and pointy no matter which way he presents.
In general, Sol is quite short at 156cm, or 5'1". This usually isn't an issue however, due to his natural ability to decrease his mass enough to fly and float.
Hair
In his usual appearance, Sol's hair reaches down all the way past his ankles, cascading into soft curls that end in a sort of filigree-like shape. Most of his hair will usually slightly float and drift around behind him, even more so if he is agitated or experiencing strong emotions. Sol's hair is coloured like a live galaxy whose stars constantly blink, twirl and move, and depending on his mood the ends of his hair will light up in a pink to gold ombré if he is happy, or become entirely colourless and black if he is sad. The bangs near his face will also glow in a bright pink hue whenever he is blushing or happy.
Sol's hair constantly emits a sparkling light which grows more intense or dull with his fluctuating moods. He can also turn it off if desired. Similar to the light, his hair especially is covered in a glittery, sparkly substance - stardust - which he will unintentionally leave scattered around most places he lingers, especially with excessive movement or if he brushes his hair out. Covering something in his stardust will enable that object to glow, much like his hair.
When hit by rain or showering, Sol's hair will entirely flatten out due to the water weighing it down. Washing it takes a very long time, as does brushing, and will usually rinse out most of the stardust in his hair, which results in the light it emits ceasing until some more stardust has collected again. Additionally, Sol's hair always feels very soft and silky, so much so that it's harder for it to tangle than normal.
Markings
There is a golden-coloured marking in the shape of a star on his forehead, which has the ability to glow in of itself. There is a similar mark on his chest, as well as golden-coloured lines on his ankles and wrists. They usually only show if his halos aren't outwardly present. Sol also possesses various halos, two around his head and one each around both of his wrists and ankles, which appear to consist of gold and emit a constant, glowing light. Their appearance is optional.
Sol's blood, spit and tears appear like and consist of liquid, sparkling gold and also glow much akin to his hair and forehead marking.
Human disguise
As Sol is able to change his appearance at will, this him the use of a 'human' disguise. In this he will usually possess shorter golden hair that reaches down to his waist, as well as blonde eyelashes and freckles of a similar colour, as well as blue eyes and dark skin.
Wardrobe
As he is generally unaware and also simply does not care about human customs surrounding gender stereotypes and gender-specific clothing, Sol will generally wear anything he thinks is pretty, which also includes traditionally feminine clothing despite his usual preference of appearing in a male body. He loves crop tops and galaxy prints, as well as most things coloured pink, gold and purple. He likes thigh high socks, boots and skirts, though will also wear trousers or bodysuits. Sol doesn't really think about whether his outfit is revealing or inappropriate and will usually wear what he wants. Sol almost always wears an array of delicate dangly earrings. He also often wears multiple rings or necklaces, as well as bracelets and anklets - especially the kind that glow. He loves jewellery and all the accessoires he has will be gold instead of silver or brass, with the stones usually being a sort of aurora borealis crystal.
Sol wears a variety of different outfits as he is loves dressing up, but his most 'default' outfit can be considered the one he originally wore when acting as a divine knowledgekeeper. It consists of a glittery, light pink bodysuit with a cutout at the stomach, as well as a star-shaped one at the top of the chest. The high neckline is covered in a dripping sort of gold design, which is also present at his hands and feet. His arms and legs are covered in a sparkling lavender fabric attached by the middle finger and toe, and the top of his stockings is attached to a golden, star-shaped decoration. Both his hands and feet have golden rings on them, and although he will usually be barefoot he can also opt for a pair of boots with a high heel. When dressed in this outfit, Sol will also usually wear dangly golden earrings, as well as a long veil, made of a sheer but incredibly sparkly glowing fabric.
If walking, Sol will also tend to wear rollerblades a lot of the time.

Story
Creation
Sometimes, when a star nears the end of its lifespan and dies, a being such as Sol is born.
Acquiring sentience in the cold and lonesome expanse of space marked the beginning of his existence as a person. Shortly thereafter he was taken in by a god, who explained to him the purpose of his kind: To act as a living record of all the knowledge that existed in his god’s galaxy. Such was the primary use of stars like himself, the second being to act as a companion and assistant to his god - something that most other divine beings abused to compete with each other by pitting their stars against each other as playthings. It was a frivolous experience, their worth and happiness entirely dependant on the whims and personality of their respective divine ruler. Fortunately Sol quickly established himself as one of the most brightly glowing among his peers, and while he revelled in the attention and praise that he received, the young star's happiness wasn’t supposed to last.
Expulsion
Sol was the only one that survived the death of his own galaxy.
Bursting under the pressure of their toxic environment, a neighbouring star to Sol and his god's system had become a black hole - causing both of their galaxies to collide. Sol’s god only barely managed to safety before being caught in the nebular storm and being entirely erased from existence, with the young star left to watch the silent aftermath. With his god dead, Sol had no way to return to the divine world, and none of the ones that had praised him even thought him still alive to claim.
Drifting
And as such did he spend milennia..
Silently drifting through the vast emptiness of space, stuck in a perpetual half-sleep whilst he could do nothing but exist - not being able to die either, as he required neither food nor air whilst his star-like body temperature kept him safe from the freezing temperatures of the unending universe. After spending most of his life in such a way, Sol finally came upon a planet on which he crashed like a shooting star.

Fighting style
Although Sol will usually try to avoid fighting, if he is ever in a situation where he needs to defend himself or those he cares about he can be quite vicious. While he doesn't usually fight with a weapon and is generally much less effective with one, learning how to use a gun is incredibly easy for him due to his photographic memory. While he doesn't possess any actualy healing magic, he can still be quite helpful in the case of someone being sick or wounded, since he is able to immedialy save and use and information regarding sicknesses or other health related care.
Sol's abilities to change his body temperature and mass can prove quite lethal in an actual fight, as he is able to burn anything he touches. His ability to fly also makes for a very elusive opponent, and his ability to manipulate his weight lends to a pretty hard hit if he does manage to land one.
Sol's natural state. Although he is still able to adjust both his temperature and mass at this stage, as well as change his appearance, there is little danger of him losing control of his powers. In this stage he will usually feel quite warm or even hot to human standards, though not to a degree that would burn someone unless he intentionally increases his temperature. His weight fluctuates more than his heat in this state, and in the rare moments in which he hasn't decreased it enough to be able to float and fly and chooses to walk instead, he will be quite heavy for human standards - to the point where most people would be unable to just pick him up.
Sol's emotional state, which he will most usually adapt under intense feelings, most usually anger. His eye colours invert, his colours change to blue and his temperature rises insanely high, to the point where the heat visibly flurries off of his limbs and eyes. In this stage he possesses much less control over his powers, which fluctuate with dropping and rising emotion, and could easily burn or kill any person that carelessly approaches him.
Sol's self-destruct state, which is only triggered in the rarest and most extreme of circumstances, since it would lead to his own demise as well. All colour is pulled out of him as he stucks in all of the light around. Once in this state he cannot be pulled out and will destroy himself and most of the galaxy he is currently residing in.
Due to his original purpose as a divine knowledgekeeper for the gods, Sol, like all other sentient stars, he possesses the inherent ability to save and catalogue any and all knowledge he learns. This includes things he merely experiences, sees or hears as well, and once he has learned something he will never forget it afterwards. Sol is also able to recall all of his learned knowledge. This makes him highly intelligent and potentially able to be efficient at a number of things once learned, despite his usual airheadedness.
Just like the others of his kind, Sol can learn the language someone speaks and fractions of other knowledge they possess by giving them a kiss, easing his ability to contact and learn from other species. This stems from star's inherent ability to share their entire catalogued knowledge with eachother through this custom, though it doesn't work as well on other species, resulting in their known language often being the only thing learned due to its priority.

He usually wears them whenever he has to walk instead of floating, as he prefers skating around to actually walking or running quite a lot.
Crystal necklace
A necklace which Sol was gifted by his god. The crystal looks almost like a glittery aurora borealis that refracts light in all shades of the rainbow.
Trivia
Biology
- He possesses an unusually high body temperature. While he is normally safe to touch, he can raise his temperature to that of a star.
- The same goes for Sol's mass, which he can adjust however he wishes. Due to this he can float and fly, but also become so heavy that he breaks the ground below him.
- As Sol sees differently than most, he is unable to see transparent glass and will usually walk right into it.
- Sol does not need to eat, breathe or sleep, though he will do any of those things if he desires to anyway - especially eating.
Combat
- While Sol is incredibly hard to permanently harm in his 'Blue Giant' stage, it's not hard to do so whenever he is in his normal form.
- Getting Sol to enter his 'Black Hole' stage is INCREDIBLY hard, to almost impossible.
