Annie runs a little apothecary in a woodsy town where she helps others through plant-related healing. She ended up meeting Eden, a fellow botanical from out of town with a serious head injury and memory loss. After agreeing to some handsome pay from Eden's associate, she became Eden's doctor/nurse. She treats a variety of patients that enter her place of business, and she cares more about helping others than profit. Annie isn't particularly wealthy, but she's not struggling financially either; she makes enough to get by without worrying too much about profits.
Though she doesn't exactly have a degree for it, she's also a skilled surgeon. Those blades in her hair are precise and she knows what she's doing, combining medical and plant knowledge to heal others effectively.
Annie is a vegetarian. She doesn't like eating creatures that were once alive. She grows a lot of medicinal herbs, as well as various other plants for the sake of collection. Her favorite root is mandrake.
Her personality is calm and easygoing, playful and a bit dazed at times. When she works, she's remarkably serious and focused. She always smells earthy, like freshly picked plants.

Annie was the first one to tend to Eden's injuries. She takes a patient and gentle approach with the confused Eden, which is something that Eden seems to appreciate greatly. Annie has an inkling that something isn't quite right about Eden's past, but she never presses Eden for more information. She only patiently waits for Eden to open up to her first, should the moment arise.
Annie met Helaine when Helaine was on the run from her powerful family. After the firey Chimereon sustained an injury, Annie helped nurse her back to life. Since then, the two of them have gotten rather close to each other and have formed a strong bond.
