When she was born, she was dionosticated with a diacase that affects her legs and doesnt allow her to walk correctly, for that same reason her parents did put her in adoption, a beauty girl with black hair, normal glasses and cute clothing did adopt her, she was happy with them till something happened...
Death of her parents
Her parent were killed by their adoptive grandparents that knew if she was sold they were to get too mutch money thank of her skills, she was just seven years old, whe was scared, she had no oportunity to run so...
Her powers
She was threatening that she will eat the fruit if they dont stop trying to sell her, their grandparents didin't care so when they were about to pick her up to give her, she ate the fruit, that had the hability to do things what a spider can (its not a zoan and she cannot transform herself as a spider) but how she was still seven and wasn't physically prepared it hurted to her but in the end she managed to escape.

After Marineford fight Melani lost everything, so Marco helped her letting her to be with him on his trip, actually now they are wife and husband.
