Before
Zircon was born to parents Juno and Scorch. His siblings were Dune, Ruby, and August. Zircon lived a fairly normal childhood. Zircon considered himself very close to his siblings, especially Dune. He was always very outgoing and friendly. Zircon's first experience with grief came after his parents were killed. It wasn't long after that his brother, August, perished as well.
Forcing himself to grin and bear the grief, Zircon tried his best to handle his bearings in private. He chose to stick closer to his remaining siblings from now on. Wanting to make sure he was able to always be a source of emotional support for his siblings.
Uprising
As if things could not get any worse, Dune started showing strange tendencies, that seemed to worsen every day. Until he had suddenly conquered Verania's kingdom and bestowed the title King Conflagration. Something was horribly wrong. Zircon joined a group that was aiming to take down Conflagration together. Zircon hoped they could do this without actually harming Dune.
And everything went horribly wrong. Zircon watched as his sister and his friends died as well. And everyone who survived were imprisoned. Zircon bit through it, and eventually managed to escape. Having had it with Verania, and practically given up his life, he fled to Primaveris. Where he met Snapdragon. And the two got together.
Eventually
Zircon stayed in Primaveris for a bit, with his new partner. Zircon could never shake off the feeling of impending doom, a fear of things getting even worse. Deciding to go back to Verania with Breeze and his travel group, wanting to avenge his friends and siblings.
Zircon did his best to fight through the battle, unfortunately having his back crushed in the process. He survived the odds, and recovered as well as possible. He is doing the best he can. Happy to learn the existence of his nephew, Elate. Thrilled to see he has a surviving family member, after all. Promoted to high ranking official when King Tidepool took power. Snapdragon moved with him and the two are still happy together.
