Personality:

Ei is a spontaneous girl who likes to hang out with her close friends, but has a slightly difficult time breaking out of her shell and making new friends as she is socially awkward. Despite being awkward, most people find her to be humorous and very pleasant to talk to.

Ei is carefree and likes to jump in head first into situations without thinking much about the future and consequences. She is quick to give up on things on the first try if it does not go well. Even though she is not skilled at solving difficult problems or physical activities, she remains confident and is resilient.

As for her intellect, you know, she's fucking dumb because she thinks wasting her time on school and "boring things" is stupid. Has to count on her damn fingers for math.

Without thinking about consequences, Ei has very poor judgement and is not good at managing her time or her body. She makes impulsive buys, shows up late to appointments, and eats whatever junk food she can find. However, this is only when it comes to herself. For her friends, Ei feels inclined to do everything for them as she is afraid they will eventually leave her.

Backstory:

Ei grew up with a loving family consisting of a white mother, a Japanese father, and a brother. Ei cherishes the time she spent with her family. Ei's father talked talked to Ei frequently about his home country and his life before moving to the United States. From this, she gained a fascination for her father's knowledge and her culture.

However, she does not remember spending much time with her brother as he spent most time to himself. Ei tends to think that she is the reason for her brother's behavior, thus explaining why she is afraid of being found as a nuisance and losing the ones around her.

She lived in the United States until eventually moving to Japan to go to high school and learn more about her father's culture. She has a hard time adjusting to life in Japan because of the blatant difference from America.
