Friends: Z (formerly), Lai
Formerly a goofy and amiable friend to Z, Shade later seems to take a turn for the worse, giving into a darker and more unpredictable nature as an enemy to Z.
Shade also becomes enemies with Lake, a character with an intelligent, cool, and sometimes aloof personality that can often contrast with his own. They especially become tense after a provoked fight breaks out between the two.
Despite these surrounding tensions, Shade seems to remain friends with Lai, a mutual friend between him and Z, and he even fleetingly shows crush-like feelings towards her.
