Event 1

Cursed and bound from birth by his father, Sotera was trapped in the realm of dreams to spend his life repenting for his mother's crime. An unjust trial for them both as she was accused and executed for an adultry she didn't commit after his birth. He grew up believing this true however, another dream demon assigned to raise him until he could fend for himself in an everchanging world.

Event 2

In the form of island, there was always a dreamer, whether human, demon, or something inbetween, that would wander through eventually. The chain around his arm a tether to the island, and the one on his neck binding him to the dreamer until they awoke. Their dream bleeding over from wherever they came from to sculpt his small world into a different shape. While he was able to change the things around him thanks to his father's bloodline, a new dreamer's would always take over and erase whatever the previous terrain was like. It was something he had to adapt to, but he found easing nightmares and enjoying dreams with someone else a pleasant experience. Rather to enjoy than dwell on his imprisonment.
