Profile
Where do they live and why?:
Nathanial lives off the grid in a sense. He actually lives in a carved-out cave that runs off solar power and a generator as a backup
power source. Think of a studio apartment but underground, Kitchen & Living area is one, then the bedroom and bathroom are one with a slight
half wall separating the two. He chose this place to live due to his health. He was born healthy but as he got older his eyesight began to
degrade and he developed a heart murmur. Due to this, he prefers living in an area that is small and fairly unchanging, the sunlight had
begun to hurt his eyes, which had been another tipping point to make the move he chose to do. It's an easy-to-access home if you know how
to get in and out of it.
The home itself as stated above, is essentially a studio apartment, with a wall that splits it in half to allow some privacy, however,
this doesn't mean it isn't a nice place to live. The wall's over the two years it took to build, are made out of strong rock and a strong
cobblestone mixture. The floor is nice hardwood slates that are a cherry red kind of colour to compliment the brown, grey, and red tones
of the apartment itself. This is minus the bathroom, the bathroom half of the room is a darker marble material, black with splashes
of gold in the room, giving it an opulent kind of look.
Extra 1:
What is his job:
Due to his sight playing such a major thing in most things he would have to do on a day to day bases. Nathanial is actually a voice actor
varying from animated shows, to being a audiobook narrator for things like audible or podcasts for people to listen to. (However, the podcast is
more so his a guest then an actual presenter) a lot of this stuff means he is able to work from home, and doesn't have to go out to
often. Things like the podcast guest are usually done on his laptop, especially since it was all vocal and nothing that was run exactly with
his sight in mind.
He is currently leaning more towards being an audio narrator than a voice actor. About 50% audiobook narrator, 20% Voice Actor for shows, and 10% as a
podcast guest. (He a re-appearing one for a podcast about books he voiced for) The reason he prefers the audiobook narrator, is a lot of the
books he gets are in braille. Even with his failing eyesight, he is still able to narrate properly thanks to this.
