"I’m not sitting here anymore and continue to watch our parents hurt and separate our family!"

Personality

Fierce is a determined and, as her name implies, fierce adolescent lioness. Growing up without much parental guidance and love, Fierce is disconnected from her parents and is more connected to her two aunts, Vigilant and Careful. She loves her siblings and especially enjoys spending time with her half-siblings. Fierce is a skilled huntress and loyal lioness, but tends to pick the wrong fight or causes fights, mostly between herself and her parents. She’s also protective and very quick to judge just based on actions and behavior. She will not hesitate to stand up for herself or others, but struggles to get others to see the truth behind her words.

Much like Hopeful though, she’s curious about the lands and world beyond the borders of the territory, but shows minor fear due to Vicious’s stories about Travelers and how they eat their young and how dangerous the outside territory is. But upon Vigilant taking her to meet her cousin, Sunny, she’s slowly lightening up on her beliefs about Travelers. In the pride, Fierce is mostly hanging out with the cubs and tends to go on solo hunts or hunts with Vigilant just to avoid her mother and father.

But despite having siblings, her relationship with her sister, Stoic, is strained. Due to her father paying attention to her more than Fierce (despite Fierce not knowing about the blackmail Jasper pulled), Fierce struggles to keep a relationship with her. But when Stoic is attacked and hurt by Vicious and Jasper, Fierce pushes all the differences away to stand up and defend her sister from their mother, proving that she still cares about and loves Stoic deeply that she won’t let differences stop her from being there for her sister. And when Careful ends up leaving the pride one night and Stoic leaves after having enough of their parents, Fierce is left alone with Felicity and her half siblings and is devastated at both losses that she refuses to eat much, but with the help of her family, she pulls through.

Fierce returns to being herself, but is determined to keep her family together, even if it means at the risk of her own life against her parents and prays and hopes for a better future for everyone that she loves. Even though she wants to leave, she doesn't want to abandon the ones who love her.

Appearance

Fierce is almost a spitting image of her father as a brown lion with a dark dorsal stripe and tail. She also inherited Jasper's dark ear markings with a dot on the back of them. She has pale markings on her underbelly, paws, and muzzle. Her muzzle marking connects underneath her eyes. She had a hair fringe similar to Adamant's. She has two notches in one of her ears and scars on her lower back from a far-leaper during her first hunt.

Relations

Jasper

Jasper and Fierce have no relationship. After blackmailing Fierce’s sibling, Stoic, Fierce believed that her father favored Stoic over her which made Fierce develop resentment towards her own littermate. But when Jasper attacked Stoic and later by Vicious one day, Fierce was not hesitant to stand up to both of them and yell at their parents to protect her sister, establishing that she doesn’t respect her parents due to their abuse and pain they inflict on Fierce’s siblings and cousins. Even when threatened to be thrown out of the pride, Fierce stands her ground and keeps her distance after the argument and Stoic’s departure. When learning her father had threatened her sister, Fierce is ready to follow the Laws of The Great King and kill her father for his actions.

Vicious

Much like Jasper, Vicious’s mother literally has no relationship with her own daughter. Due to Vicious believing Fierce to be the reincarnation of Adamant, Vicious refuses to really raise her and pushes her off to Vigilant and Careful while helping Jasper focus on the other cub’s training as a way to keep Fierce from learning how to be independent all the time and as a way to help Jasper keep Stoic focused on training rather than her siblings. When learning Vigilant gave her daughter a nickname, she reluctantly does give Fierce her official name, just to keep Vigilant off her back. When Stoic is attacked by Jasper and soon Vicious, Fierce is not hesitant to stand up to both of them and yell at their parents to protect her sister, establishing that she doesn’t respect her parents due to their abuse and pain they inflict on Fierce’s siblings and cousins. Even when threatened to be thrown out of the pride, Fierce stands her ground and keeps her distance after the argument and Stoic’s departure.

Stoic

Through cubhood, Fierce and Stoic had a close relationship until one day when Stoic began to train with their dad and Vicious wouldn’t let Fierce train with her sister. This caused Fierce to grow with bitterness towards her older sister, thinking that Stoic was the favorite heir when in reality, Stoic wasn’t the favorite and was forced to stay away from her sister after being blackmailed and threatened by her father that he would kill Fierce if she didn’t train with him. But in the end, when Stoic was attacked by their parents, Fierce pushed aside everything that happened between them and protected her sister from Vicious and Jasper. Fierce did everything she could to convince her sister to stay and in the end before Stoic left, the truth about Jasper’s blackmail and threats came out which made Fierce realize that her sister was only avoiding her to protect her. Fierce and Stoic forgive one another before Stoic leaves the Golden Grove which would lead to Fierce understanding that she now had to protect her family from their parents.

Felicity

Fierce’s littermate, Felicity was extremely close to her sister and did her best to support and comfort her while also acting like the mediator between Stoic and Fierce through their adolescence. Despite being timid and more reserved than the two, Fierce loved her sister and enjoyed joining lessons with her which helped Fierce get through the jealousy and hate she had for Stoic. When Stoic and Careful leave the Golden Grove, Felicity tries to calm down and get Fierce to settle before she blows up, but only failed when Fierce said that she was done watching their family fall apart because of their parents which finally made Felicity realize that her younger sister was right about one thing - Their parents were behind the reason the family they had was broken.
