- Arctic Wendigo: They function similarly to the Wendigo of lore, with the added difference that this clan hails from the Arctic. As such, they have thick coats of fur, but underneath it all they are just as emaciated and fairly deer-like as their more southern counterparts. They are always starving and can never feel full. This subspecie of Wendigo hunt by seeking out body heat. They have an ability to heat sap, which allows them to inflict hypothermia on their victims, making them easier to capture.
- Personality: Scrappy, clumsy, exciteable, always cold, always hungry. Helmut is nervous when around strangers, and even moreso if they are confident or impressive in any way. Once she gets comfortable with someone, she is easily exciteable and doesn't understand the concept of personal space. She's not the brightest bulb, but that's likely largely in part to her being constantly hungry. As a wendigo, she is always starving no matter how much she eats. As a wendigo that hails from the arctic, she is also constantly cold. She is always on the look out for something warm to cling to, and something socially approved to eat.
- Tidbits:
- She can not regulate her own body temperature - she defaults to cold, but she can just as easily overheat.
- Her family runs a bed and breakfast in Northern Halloween. It's a series of cozy little Igloos...and they promise nobody that has stayed with them has ever become breakfast. Well, except for the unfortunate few who had baby Helmut chewing on their toes and ankles.
- Her best friend forever is Xavier Hollow (played by kuropu), with her frenemy Li Shou (played by Cat Grenade on GaiaOnline) coming in as a close second.
