Nerine

Nerine lived with his parents who where unsuccessful as artists. Because of the harsh living conditions he was sometimes put through abuse by them, being the blame for why they weren't successful. However, despite the living conditions, Nerine would find enjoyment through reading manga, drawing on his own, and soon singing which he would often dream of making one day. Though he was poor, he'd often times played in turf to get enough for drawing and art supplies, singing classes, and manga. His parents didn't like this at all and would often times destroy his supplies and his drawings out of jealousy till eventually he had to hide them.

This would take a toll on him significantly and he even considered on just giving up. This was until he met Ny during a turf war session where he was on his team. He was amazed by how he was handling himself despite the overwhelming odds the several games that they played. He conversed with the inkling boy afterwards and he said that he was also doing his best for someone that he looked up too. Granted it was on the spot and made Ny nervous to answer, Nerine was inspired to not give up. Filled with overwhelming confidence from the shy inkling, he decided to keep going and move forward. Without discussing with anyone, Nerine signed up to an audition for a major performance office hoping to make his dream come true and get out of his horrible living situation. After giving an overwhelming ten minute performance, Nerine was immediately signed up for a three year contract. Overjoyed, Nerine rushed home to inform his parents of the news, but to alas...they weren't happy about it at all. This was due to the overwhelming jealously they had for their own child making it and not them. Upon hearing the news, the parents outright disowned him.

Nerine was disappointed, but not surprised. He told them that he loved them still, but left them to follow his dream.

Now working as a idol, he sets out to make everyone around him happy and joyous. He hopes to one day personally pay back the shy and quiet inkling who gave him hope...and hopefully confess to him live on TV.
