Profile
- Personality: Serious, deadpan, sarcastic, quiet, private. Ripley prefers to sit off to the side and watch the going-ons around him, rather than joining in. He's the studious sort who is usually never found without a book or notes nearby. He doesn't often talk about himself, and in fact, he doesn't often talk - when he does, it's in as short of sentences as possible to get his point across. Unless he's explaining something with precision detail, which he handles in the same way as if he would read an instruction manual out loud. He's boring, and long since gave up trying to pretend to be outgoing and friendly...unless something specifically demands that he do so.
- Wilhelm: Sword. Used to be a Sleipnir, who volunteered for weaponization. He is very much like Ripley in that he doesn't speak often, and when he does it isn't of much substance. When he does, it's to offer his opinion on something, or to try and correct a fighting stance or to offer insight into attacks. Currently, he and Ripley don't get along too well - they are too much alike. This has lead to Ripley being a poor fighter, unable to properly wield Wilhelm.
- Tidbits:
- Currently has his ability to recognize and feel love removed from him. This has caused an impressive rift between himself and his boyfriend, Finn. Good News: thanks to Finn, Ripley has his memories back! They are as happy as they can be, now.
- When he awoke from the events of 'Day Zero' - which to him was a special class mission from his superiors - he found a green key tattooed on his left forearm, and a Class 'A' artifact, now soulbound to him. He's not sure what to make of either of them.
- He is not a man who accepts not knowing something. He can't function properly if he doesn't understand and have full control over himself and his thoughts, meaning that the above two points are very stressful to him as a person.
- Prior to joining Deus, Ripley was a Funeral Director in a family-run funeral home. He lost his entire family and home in a 'freak fire' - which was actually caused by a fire demon, as he later found out. The incident resulted in permanent burns on both his palms, and a heavy, guilty heart.
