Background: Karoo and his half siblings; Namiri, Tilly, Chai and Pasha were all forced to leave their home due to it being overun by marauding males. Their father was killed while patrolling their turf which left their mothers defenseless and having no choice but to tell them to run away for their own safety. Namiri took the role of being the caretaker of them alongside Karro and they've been on their own ever since. They killed a large Orynx in the desert when they first met Crowley.

Namiri reluctantly agreed to let the wolf join them and Crowley proved to be a solid provider and protector. Eventually, they came across the Musuli Sisters and the Ohana Pride consisting of Sefu, Maze, Kanzi, Kai, Mhina, River, Iroh and Daudi. When they first met, the Musuli Sisters, Iroh, Kanzi and Sefu were obviously protective but seeing the group had cubs of their own, they agreed to allow them to join.

Eventually, they entered the Pridelands where they encountered Sarah Tomoe, Outlanders and Pridelanders which changed everything for them.
