Otter tendencies -- As Sorrelshift has quite a few features and is built kind of like an otter, she has the traits of one. Her fur is very water resistant, she can float on her back fairly well, and is able to keep her eyes open underwater. While ott cannot breathe underwater like a water type, ott can hold ott’s breath for up to 8 minutes. Ott also chirps and clicks like an otter as well.

Color-shifting -- Sorrelshift is able to change the colors of her tail. Ott often uses this power to communicate nonverbally! Ott also uses this to make little ‘movies’ for kits as she knows how to change the colors and scents very fluently. The colors tend to change without her noticing, leading to ott’s emotions bleeding out onto ott’s tail

Soothing aura -- Sorrel can let out a soothing aura that calms cats. Ott needs to focus a little more on this ability in order for it to work.

Telekinesis -- Sorrel, with enough focus, can lift small items with her psychic powers. The biggest ott can lift is large sticks, anything larger and ott gets exhausted very quickly. Around the items she is picking up is a soft purple-blue glow.

Tail morphing -- due to the nature of her normal typing, Sorrelshift can change the shape of her tail. This process does hurt a bit but Sorrel has grown used to it, only mildly wincing.

Sorrelshift and her mothers were very close, all spending as much time together as they could. Her mother's names were Brookslip and Antrush. Antrush was very headstrong and unfocused, and Brookslip was the one to keep her in check. They often took walks outside of camp, sometimes allowing their daughter to come with them, sitting on Brooks's back.

When Brook and Ant and Sorrel's little brother, Hollywind, they stopped taking walks as often, but after Holly went to the gorge for training, the began again. On one stormy day, the three went on a walk together, unfortunately, right in front of ott's eyes, Antrush and Brookslip were struck by lightning then and there, killing them instantly. Sorrel very quickly took a protective nature over ott's brother.

There was a battle. Sorrel was fighting as best as ott could but she fell. She fell from a great height. It permanently wounded her legs. While she knew she could stay a warrior, she decided not too. She then retired, becoming an elder with her best friend and chosen sister, Polarpurge. Sorrelshift has enjoyed being an elder. Ott loves showing stories and taking care of kits! While it may just be her and Polar, ott is fine with that!
