Khailan Rutari

Charismatic, sincere, calculating. Khailan is the leader of the New Republic Coalition, a group trying to form a new city/society in a world full of Venomous and the cruel military forces that hunt them. He is an idealist who believes he can make the world a better place, and has skill to back it up: he is a very skilled negotiator and tactician, possessed of a keen, analytical mind.

When he's not busy with his duties, he is cordial, relaxed, and a bit fresh (if not outright flirtatious). Tough love is his specialty; compliments are hard-earned, but very valuable coming from him.

Khailan also has a dangerous passionate streak that sometimes puts him in bad situations; he can't easily disengage when something is a lost cause, determined to keep fighting until all of his options are exhausted. Through and through, he is a true leader who believes in his own strength and the strength of those he carries with him.
