Lou loves her independency. She used to be called Dani, but renamed herself into "Lou" as a sign of her indenpendency. Lou has tons of abilities and focuses on the improvement of those. However, she hates people who do not know much about her culture.

She is pretty snappy and judges people fairely quickly - even her own friends. Lou would do anything, even giving her own life, for giving a peaceful life to the ones she consideres friends. When she is mad, however, she hits people with her bone staff. Lou had a hard time accepting grief. Therefore she crafted a bone staff out of the remains of her dead friends.

Gary Sandoval

Lou's amirai. He is the only one she is really close to. Both would give their lives for each other. Lou left Gary after failing to control the power of his kaihi. They promised to see each other again. However, Lou didn't see Gary anymore after the series' ending.

Finula

Her dead amirai and best friend. Lou raised her and never claimed her Kaihi due to her fear of not being able to control it. They did everything for each other. However, Finula got killed by Inuwa.

Tilly

Lou's mentor. They used to have a good relationship before the Silent Whisper, however, everything got a little confused after Tilly faked her own death. Nowdays Tilly selected Lou as her successor and trained her until her death.
