a darkly furred tom with vitiligo, born into mighty group of mountain dwelling clan cats known as SummitClan. he was exiled for leaving his mentor to die in a fox attack, claiming he did his best to save him, and fooling the entire clan into respecting him. he'd aspired to be leader his entire life, and if this was the way to get it than so be it. but now that his secret was exposed and he's exiled, he's got nothing to aim for. his grief becomes anger. all that's left for him to do now is destroy his former clan all together, whatever it takes.

Notes
- Due to being sick at the peak of his growth, Flintspark is slightly shorter than average
- To make him feel better, Kindleheart told him that his vitiligo was the stars spreading over his pelt. This made Flint self concious as he felt like it was a constant reminder of his near-death
- The two white spots under both his eyes were always there since kithood, but since got covered up with the rest of his vitiligo as he aged
- He used to try and cover up his vitiligo with mud
- Flintspark and his siblings are the product of a surrogate relationship, as their birth mother and father were merely close friends
- Flintspark's name in Spanish is Chispa de Pierda
- The suffix "spark" was given to honor his "determined, fierce, and passionate attitude towards the life of a warrior"
- Surprisingly it was Flintspark who confessed his love to Wasabi

Personality
distant. vengeful . ambitious . angry
Though once a bright eyed and cheery soul, seasons of insecurity, jealousy, and manipulation changed Flintspark into a cat few within Summitclan would enjoy the company of, and fewer would want to befriend. He'd go from curt and distant, to outwardly rude with just about anyone. And while there were cats who could bring out a more caring side to him, Flintspark rarely expressed these feelings in a conventional way, unable to get past the discomfort of just doing so. Still, he was notably much more chatty, grateful, and mischievous with this select few, even if he struggled to express it properly.
After exile, he fluctuates from extreme anger, to overwhelming numbness. He does not care about anything other than revenge, including those he once held dear. Bloodthirst controls all his senses, leaving him a ruthless, vengeful husk.
ORIGIN
Shockingly enough, Flintspark's existence as a roleplay character was not meant to exceed past kithood. I was asked if I wanted to play a kit that would die in my friend's litter, and made up Flintkit on a whim. With the knowledge that his whole purpose was to die, I also decided to make Flintkit super cute! I made him aspire to be leader more than anything else, a dream that would inevitably be cut short.
What I didn't account for was that this would cause my friends to get attached to Flintkit, so much so that they'd ask for me to let him live. Naturally I said that he could either die in the happy baby state he was now, or live and become evil.
Unsurprisingly they chose the second option. Flintspark has grown into something very different since his debut. And though the roleplay he is from is no longer active, he remains my single favorite OC till this day!
Early Life
Flintkit was born alongside his two siblings, Dreamkit and Stormkit. Their mother, Silentstorm, would die during the birth, leaving their surrogate father and a molly named Kindleheart to care for them, alongside her mate, who was Silentstorm's brother. Stormkit would die in a rockslide soon after, leaving only the two brothers to be cared for. Despite the rough start, the family was extremely tight knit. Flintkit himself was very close to Kindleheart, and took his sad origins as motivation to become the best warrior, and future leader he could be. The 5 remained at peace for moons, until one day, when Flintkit fell deathly ill.
Gradually, the clan lost hope in Flintkit's survival. His condition was only worsening, and any cat could see Spiritclan was moments away from taking him. All except Kindleheart, who demanded that the medicine cats continued to treat Flintkit and fight for his survival. It was her determination alone that led to Flintkit- now Flintpaw's, miraculous recovery.
Apprenticeship
Yet Flintpaw's near death had changed him. Though it strengthened his ambitions, it twisted his outlook. To him, every cat only saw him as the kitten that had barely escaped death. Kindleheart especially had become more doting than usual, which embarrassed and annoyed him. Flintpaw began to feel a strong need to prove himself. He demanded for his mentor, Alexei, to teach him battle moves he wasn't ready for. When Alexei refused, he grew resentful and frustrated. He went to an older apprentice, Wasabi, and asked if he could teach him instead. Wasabi just laughed and walked away. Flintpaw became a rude, unhappy, and jealous apprentice. He began to resent Dreampaw for how well-liked he was, and how easily everything seemed to come to him. There was a strong sense of direction for Flintpaw, but no way for him to get it. Flintspark's relationship to Wasabi can best be described as mutual, toxic codepenency. They both encourage each other's unhealthy mindsets, and as a result have a very "us against the world" mentality. To both of them, the other is the only one who's understood their feelings and stuck beside them without trying to fix them. While not being the most self-cultivating of mates, they do have a strong form of love for one another, and though it is unconventional and unhealthy, it is earnestly felt.
Kindleheartadoptive mother
Though they were brought together by tragedy, Flintspark remained very close with Kindleheart. He grew incredibly frustrated with her coddling and worry, but it was never enough to overpower his gratitude and love for her. It was his ambition that broke them apart. After killing Alexei, her dear friend, and being exiled, he's pretty sure she resents him. When in reality, Kindleheart blames herself for not doing more to break him from his path.

Little Pistol is the best reflection of Flint's general attitude / feelings after exile. That being that he isn't the traditional villain in the sense that he takes pleasure in his actions, he just doesn't have any other way of coping. He results to vengeance because it's what he feels will make him feel better, with that vengeance coming in waves of anger and bloodthirst.
These waves of anger are reflected in the "Of the world and the way.." and "Of the man and the men.." parts. The "They put a little chip so that they know it all," connects to Flint using Wasabi for intel. The narrator's lines about finding brimstone and wanting roses symbolize Flint discovering this coping mechanism and going through with it. And towards the end of the song, it talks about no longer packing pistols and the rose burning, which symbolizes Flint accepting that vengeance won't make him feel any more complete and him running away, ending his wrath upon Summitclan.
