Azure is a resident who forced their awakening causing their form to be that of a dreambeast. Despite this her connection to the weave was above average, one could only imagine how powerful she would be had she not forced the merger, causing a loss in the connection. Azure spent her early youth trying to strengthen her connection to the weave, spending most of her time in the heavy cavern's main settlement. One of her motivations for doing this was to gain a humanoid form, focusing mostly on her upper body and head. It took her 30 long years to gain her current shape and it is still not as humanoid as the common resident who went through a proper merger.

Young Years

Azure's younger years were mostly spent studying the connection with the Yarn. She was taken in by a resident called Lowell who used her as a decoration and pet due to her not having a humanoid shape. Although she could talk in this form she was often told not to by Lowell. Lowell wanted a guard dog, something he could command without consideration as he viewed Azure more of a beast than person. She endured it for the fact that Lowell had a library of rare literature containing subjects ranging all from Yarn manipulation to the social structure of the major settlements. Azure acted like she was told but secretly studied literature and the people around her. Azure got away with pulling and inspecting other people's Yarn, them just thinking it was a curious dreambeast who Lowell had a soul connection to. A resident pulling at and inspecting another resident's Yarn is seen as highly disrespectful and can be outright discomforting for the one being inspected. Using this Azure could learn about the Yarn, it´s connection to emotions and what fluctuations correlate to what type of feelings.

The angel

After spending almost 15 years with Lowell, Azure started to take on a semi humanoid torso. This greatly displeased Lowell, his pet was turning in to a person and he did not appreciate it. Just when Azure started to think he would dispose of her, Lowell's focus shifted. A young white resident walked through the halls at his mansion, every step she took was light like a feather, one could almost hear a clear bell ring at every time her toes touched the marble floor. It was like an angel descending from heaven. Even the Yarn around her seemed to acknowledge her and react with excitement. Azure was dazed after seeing her the first time, gladly jumping through the garden with a smiling Lowell at her heels. They seemed to be playing a chasing game at the time. However once Azure's daze ended and she regained her senses she felt horror. Unspeakable, indescribable horror. After speeding her entire life observing the Yarn of both the world but more so the residents in it she could feel something. It was like looking at a corpse, wrapped in plastic to prevent the smell and blood from slipping out, then dressed in silk and cotton disguising itself as a pillow. It looks pretty, it feels soft, but if you pull away the silk, push the cotton out of the way and stick a small hole in the plastic a horrid inside awaits.

Once Azure found what was hidden she felt that it was time to enact her escape plan. During her years she had not been idle, she had gathered intelligence, gained favors and more importantly signed weaved contracts that would aid her in escaping, lastly establishing an organization of her own. Azure escaped all the way to the city of Somnus where she would go on to later establish the Azar Azure faction.
