Physical Description

Windfall has a light golden brown torso that’s littered with swirled stripes. She has a light underside with a bright white star on her forehead symbolizing her connection to StarClan as a Medicine Cat. Her amber and blue eyes are a reflection of her parents - one has each eye color.

Backstory

Early Life

Windkit was born outside of the clan’s camp and brought back alongside her littermates, Birdkit and Sunkit. Her father announced them as his kits, but refused to say who the mother was.

Adolescence

Windpaw tumbled into the medicine den after watching the clan’s medicine cat, Doveshadow, rebuild the clan in the aftermath of a war with DriftClan. She grew to be very close to her mentor and was better suited to applying herbs and treating cats rather than communicating with StarClan or interpreting signs. Windpaw was very close with her best friend, Tanukipaw, and was distraught when she died. If Tanukipaw had lived, they would have become mates.

Adulthood

Windfall was named a full medicine cat under the light of the moon. She was proud to serve her clan and wanted nothing else but to be someone other cats could rely on. In a dream, it was revealed to her that her mother was her mentor, Doveshadow. She has never told another cat that she knows, but regards Doveshadow with more warmth than before, understanding her motives. Windfall often refers to Doveshadow teasingly as her “mother figure” despite knowing the truth.

Windfall is known to her clanmates for her caring nature, and frequent visits to those she is close to. In other clans, most cats have a decent amount of respect for her, excluding those she has feuded with.

Windfall has always admired Doveshadow, and was ecstatic when she was allowed to become her apprentice. Doveshadow treats her with as much love as she can without letting the rest of the clan, and in her view, Windfall, know she is her mother.

Windfall has always known that Swiftstar was her father. She sometimes felt overshadowed by him, and this was part of her decision to become a medicine cat - distinguishing herself from him by walking a different path.

Tanukiheart

Windfall grew up alongside the talkative Tanukiheart, and she was the cat that she trusted most. Upon Tanukipaw's death, Windpaw fights with her father to give her a warrior name - when he does not, she appeals to StarClan, who grant Tanukiheart the suffix "-heart" in honor of her unwavering devotion and loyalty.
